First, I would like to say thank you for the nerfhammer on GWF. I feel like the red headed step child of cryptic. You allow rogues a long range at will, plus a medium range encounter. That coupled with permannet stealth make them the most needed class to be nerfed. if you want to make permanent stealth a valid play style get rid of ranged combat for the rogue, otherwise you need to eliminate permenent stealth.

Second, the dodge mechanic although useful is totally ridiculous in PVP. Again as a GWF all of my hard hitting encounters only hit air, 80% of the time. yet my "dodge" which is sprint can be interrupted and i have to hold the shift key for it to be effective. i do not have the same ability to double tap a key and get a response.

Finally, what is the point of merging paragon powers for the GWF and the GF if your not going to allow us a shield and plate Tanking as a GWF is the dumbest thing in the game. that shouldn't even be an option in my opinion. hell why not just rework the GWF into a paladin we are practically there anyway.

Finally, I commend you for fixing the exploits. it is an awesome thing. we have a custom channel that we use to pick up people only want to do the encounters the way they were meant to be played. Having finally gotten my GWF to a point where he needs just the scale armor, i have been running Temple of the spider (ToS). And let me tell you. that dungeons is the stupidest encounter i have ever run. It feels liek a raid encounter that needs about 10 peopel to do it without pulling your hair out or kicking your dog because your so pissed off. The first two bosses in their are easy as hell, as easy as t1 encounter in my opinion, yet you get to Syndroth and its a brick wall. The webs are so strong i can not break them with sprint, even while unstoppable. the blade masters spawn so fast and hit so hard they one shot most classes, and they spawn in groups of four. That's basically all your dps dead, with the first spawn. You need to slow down the blademasters and nerf their damage. It is insane to think that in a free to play game i should have to spend all of my Astral Diamonds(AD) to buy level 7 enchants to get to a point where i can use my t1 gear to kill t2 bosses and then have to re-enchant the t2 gear, with rank 7 or larger enchants. i am not saying that you can not tune the encounters for t2 to require say rank 5 or 6 enchants to be effective, but the minimum GS to get into ToS is 8300(?), but the final boss can not be killed without at least 12k across all the people participating which is a huge investment into gear and enchants.

I am at a point where these are the issues i am dealing with. First lag. Still have serious lag, which i knwo is a hardware issue on cryptic side, not me. Second, i am at a point where i can not do a t2 encounter without already having t2 gear, which is dumb as HAMSTER. I should buy the gear off the ah in order to farm the gear i no longer need? The encounters in MC are the same way unless you have put 2 million AD into your gear your not going to beat the encounter. but once you have invested 2 million ad in your gear their is no reason to do the encounter.

When i played wow i spent 15 dollars a month for a HAMSTER game i never really enjoyed, but it passed the time. Now i have a game i really enjoy, even though the version is goofy as hell (not your fault that is all on WotC), it keeps in the spirit of the AD&D i grew up with. and I really want to support this game. i have been spending about 50 dollars a month, three times the amount i spent on wow, to support the game, i do not mind spending money on flavor items and for the gamble of the lock box and stuff, but i do not think i should have to spend money in order to be able to complete the PVE content or PVP content for that matter. When i first started playing i was so jazzed because their really was not anything, other then the dark elf race, that you had to BUY in order to enjoy the game, but it is not that way NOW, and i am getting ready to put this game behind me.

It is a shame this game has moved from free to play, to pay to enjoy.

No. If you have "Double tap to roll/sprint" turned on in your options, you can tap your 'W' key to move forward twice and on the second tap hold it, and you will sprint as if you are holding shift.

Yes, it sucks that you cannot dodge as a GWF, but you are also the class that can escape the best in PvP because of sprint and control immunity with unstoppable. It's give and take.

Tr's are still really op and dominate in pvp but the same can be said about a sentinel gwf or conqueror gf or thamaturge cw the de buffs are crazy. I do think all classes need balancing deflect on gwf and impact, stealth feat and skulker's nerf on tr so perma stealth doesn't break the que system because that bothers me more than pvp match perma tr's. Just give the dev's time though at least they are working on fixing things which is great and who knows maybe the gf paragon path will be great for a gwf. My friend wants to tank but can't hold Argo as gwf and now maybe he can hold it.. But a tip is if you hit ctrl while targeting a tr you will lock onto them in stealth.

Roll a tr play as one and you will learn all their weakness they have some but deflect builds are dominating in pvp now couple with regen. So any combination with those stats can be op. I have one of each character Lvl 60 and it's helped me in pvp tremendously because I know how each class works and their strengths and weakness. Suggestion if your a destroyer build gwf maybe trade some dps for defense you will be surprised how much you can get even as a destroyer mine has about 40 defense and 30 deflect which is close to some gf's and time your unstoppables it's like a shield that can't be broken. It's all about rotations.

I agree some dungeons should be turned down karrundex, ToS can be extremely hard for parties that aren't geared or communicating. I think most dungeons are just to long I would like to do a dungeon in the minutes that is suggested (45) but for a average geared party still gearing and learning to play that is hard to accomplish. Also if I remember correctly mighty leap makes you immune so you can use it like a dodge but it's been awhile since I have done this might have changed. When you do ToS make sure you have 2x tr's, cw , dc and you I find two tr's is the best to defeat the final boss. Or try tr, gwf, 2x cw, dc to control more. Once you get the final boss to a lower level of life she will just eat all the blademaster's to heal herself. It's just a dps race while cw's try to control ads.

There's no point in bringing 2 TRs in ToS or anywhere else, a good CW can do almost just as much single target damage... and much more when it comes to AoE... and he also adds CC with his abilities. Not saying TRs aren't cool, but my group does this without one just fine, with a GWF or GF instead and 2 CWs that melt everything in sight.

Your telling me 10k cw is going to out dps a 10k tr on single target damage I disagree with this. AoE is a completely different story. I never said 2 cw wasn't a way to go as I have stated above. I find either party works equally well two smoke bombs from tr's and cc from 1 cw was enough cc for my group. I actually bring two tr's to a lot of places spell and frozen heart are some of the other dungeons. I never stated it was a requirement just suggesting different party compositions to help the player do ToS. But there is a point to bring two tr's it works just like other party comps. The true requirement is just players that know how to play their class and willing to work as a team.
