Direct from 4th Edition Rules
GF Path Kensai: A Kensai is the master of single one handed weapon use. They give up the use of the shield in favor of training to complete mastery with one of three types of paths. The way of the blade, ax or hammer.
Abilities
Encounters: Master Stroke, Ultimate Parry, Weapon Soul Dance.
Unique Options
TAB: Instead of BLOCK tank mechanic you create a Parry based Weapon Defense. While the kensai focuses upon a single weapon, and the lose of a shield their training has enabled them to defelct and counter-attack incoming blows.

Replace Block With Counter Strike Mechanic
Tab key held down, the incoming attack is parried with a x percentage chance for a counter strike.
Allow use of sword knots from gwf as the new off hand for the Kensai Paragon Path.

Feats
Way of the Blade-Master of bleeding, and counter attacking.
Way of the Ax-Master of Agro control, taunting and debuff's
Way of the Hammer-Master of Armor Reduction, Short confusions, and breaking through shield based powers.

GWF Path-Pit Fighter: The Pit-Fighter is the master of fighting at all costs to win. Chivalry is dead to this master of dirty fighting techniques. This type of fighter is ideal for a little large group crowd control with his dirtier ways of winning a fight.

TAB Replace Unstoppable with: Showman Ship(When Rage bar is full the gwf hears the deafening roar of the crowd and becomes the ultimate showman, able to use adrenaline to rush past all crowd control and execute fancy and deadly techniques that leave the crowd in awe. Adds bleeding damage at 30% of weapon damage to all targets struck.)

New Daily's
Low Blow: A stunning kick to the midsection hat stuns the target for two seconds.
Deadly Pay Back: Counter Attack all enemies that strike you for three seconds.(reflect half damage back to target)
Sweep the Legs: A fancy move to be used against large groups of enemies as they close in. The pit fighter executes a sweeping strike at the legs of all enemies in the radius knocking them prone.

New Feats:
Gladiator: Path focuses on one on one combat. Add a trident to some weapon skins.
Mercenary: Years fighting for gold has taught you how to come out with your head still upon your shoulders. Feats would have a defensive aspect.
Street Thug: Your formal training didn't come in a knights school they happened on the mean streets. This path focuses on dirty fighting and crowd control.

WHAT THIS DOES FOR YOU CRYPTC
Allows a Gwf to serve as crowd control. Allows a new tank mechanic for tank fans to try out. The animations for all of the listed combats are already in. The abilities would not take much to change. It allows more options so people are more likely to buy alt slots. You do not have to add new gear in as the Sword Knot would serve perfectly for the Kensai.

You stick with the fourth edition rules and you give parties new CC options, new bleed damage options, new tank options.

Right now most GWF I know hate the changes myself included. By merging the classes paragon abilities you are essentially staying at 5 classes with the merging of the fighter classes and the introduction of the Hunter ranger.

You want to make money, I gave you some very good idea's how to make people want to reroll the same class they already have leveled.

Fantastic suggestions - the Kensai path would have been really amazing implemented in this way, especially with the trees based on specific weapons.
