I created a Foundry quest for the german halloween event. I translated it into english and know i have little favor. Please (begging) play it and left your feedback in this thread or via the foundry rating system.
Have fun
P.S.: sorry for my horrible english
Platypus wielding a giant hammer, your argument is invalild!
Would you be so kind as to help me and play mine in return?
I have the following campaign posted:
Campaign: The Revenge of Asmodeus
Quest 1: Fall of the City of Grumura (Daily)
Quest 2: The Demi-God's Return (No link yet to this quest - needs plays, just published last night)
You are welcome to play both... I am looking for plays on the second one, and it is up to you, but if you play the first one, you will understand the second one a little better as far as the plot.
Thanks! I will PM you my notes after playing your quest.
I gave your quest a run, it is well written. I actually took down the dialogue for you that has grammaticaly mistakes, and I will PM you the notes from my run so they are not displayed in this thread. The storyline was well thought out and well executed. I thoroughly enjoyed the combat and the challenging elements to the quest. The environments were also very well done and fit the theme perfectly.
If you are considering becoming an author of these foundry quests, consider joining the guild I am in, Scribes Enclave. It is an out of game guild, so whether you are, or are not, in an in-game guild, you can join Scribes Enclave. Check it out, www.scribesenclave.guildlaunch.com. It has members that play each other's quests, assist with building quests, and trade plays for quests.
Please remember to run my quests, I have provided them in my prior post to you, which should be directly above this one. Check your Private Message Box for my notes on your quest.
Feel free to drop a line on my forum post regarding my quest, thanks!
Hello, I'm playing your quest now.
So far I like it, there are some details however.... like: "Freshly turned earth. What is probably among them?" I am not an English expert, but it makes little sense to me. What "them"? "freshly turned earth" should be a name of this item, not a part of the dialog btw. Players like to know what do they interact with before they press "F".
Or this one: "Here is buried the future generations of the family Ascott buried."
English is not my first language so I won't risk guessing the correct form, but I know this is wrong.
Funny thing is, the necromancer Dorkal speaks in German, good I know this language too (a bit).
There are some mistakes here and there and some details not translated (Yoriks Rucksack with Kryptashluessel... Wait, why am I dead? Oh yes, writing on forum instead of playing )
Unknown cousin speaks German too, btw.
All in all, very nice and "moody" quest, that just needs a bit polishing. But, did you really had to place the chest THERE? Ewww.... I took it only because I wanted to review, do you have any idea how hard it was to wash my clothes after that?
P.S. If you would find some time to play my foundry ("Farming crypts") I would be grateful.
