    A Snake. Why are their so many Spiders in this game and no Snakes???

    I would like to see a companion that makes my 14k GF do realistic damage.

    I would love to see class specific companions. Apprentices, followers, acolytes or whatever would seem most appropriate to the class. Would add a bit of depth to the characters and open new ways for character development.

    Beyond this, several great ideas have been brought up already.

    Faerie Dragon
    Dragon Hatchlings
    Dryads/Nymphs
    More animals (Rangers traditional)

    An insect companion like a big wasp or praying mantis.
