Depends of ur play style. Nowadays, the most overused set for PvP is the Battlefield Skulker (acquired from the Gauntlgrym PvP vendor). It costs 190 grym coins (w/o the weapons). Speaking of weapons, a good start is the Iceshard Dagger (drop from Frozen Heart) + Murderous Jester Parrying Blade, til u can afford the CN weapon set. Vorpal enhacement is a must for DPS, unless ure specced to lifesteal builds.

There is a TL;DR at the bottom. I suggest reading my wonderful post, though
I'm assuming lvl 60 pvp here. If not, full regen ftw
Honestly, it really depends on how you have built your character. Gear should always be built around your spec, not the other way around. Now, I can give a few generic suggestions for a nice starter pvp set. Just keep in mind that your final gear is dependent on how you play and how you specced.
The glory pvp set (Battlefield Scavenger) is a nice gear set to have. As stated, you can get it from the glory vendor in the Trade of Blades pvp area, where the test dummies are. The entire set costs around 14.9k glory, which does not take too many pvp matches to farm up. This is not including the Battlefield Scavenger main hand and offhand, which cost around 9.5k glory. The set gives you hp, crit, arpen (a very important stat), and lifesteal. The set bonus is good for pvp, as more stealth means more positioning/more opportunity to Lashing Blade that cw
If you have more time, the t2 pvp set (Battlefield Skulker) is an improved version of the Battlefield Scavenger. It gives slightly better stats and a better set bonus, but takes much longer to farm up. also, you can only get it from Gauntlygrym pvp, which happens once every 6 hours or so. So, I would personally stick with Battlefield Scavenger and slowly work up to Battlefield Skulker.
As for weapons: More base damage = win. For the most part. Essentially, as I said, the easiest (decent) purple weapons you can get are the Battlefield Scavenger weapons from the glory vendor. There are better options, though. Thickgristle's Jagged Dagger is an easy to obtain, strong dagger. It gives more damage than the pvp weapons and gives a bit of lifesteal and recovery. You can get it from the second boss of Epic Pirate King. A better dagger is the Iceshard Blade, which can be obtained from the second boss of Epic Frozen Heart. Careful though, this dungeon is not easy with people who do not know what to do (I've have pugs that wiped way too often here). It gives tons of armor pen. It's automatically good because of that
As for weapon/armor enchants, stick with vorpal and soulforged. The shards for these are dropped in t2 epic dungeons, or Pirate King and up. Vorpal is amazing for damage, and soulforged is basically the best enchant for pvp. However, I personally like the barkshield enchant more. It basically gives you temporary hp and can be obtained from the Master of the Hunt skirmish (I believe it can be obtained elsewhere, but I find the MotH skirmish to be a fast and easy way to get a lot of them).
As for end game, it's up to you, good man. However, the Ancient/Fomorian weapon sets are the best for anything. Ancient from the Castle Never dungeon and Fomorian from Malabog's Castle + lvl 20 Weaponsmithing.
TL;DR
Battlefield Scavenger is easy to get. Glory vendor.
Iceshard and Thickgristle. T2 epic dungeons.
Vorpal and Soulforged/Barkshield. T2 epic dungeons.
Keep in mind gear is built around your playstyle, not the other way around. So don't just stick with what we say here; be sure to experiment a little bit.
