Invisible walls are blocking the way, coordinates & maps included:

    If I'm not mistaken the node in your first image actually disappears at certain angles. I wasn'[t sure if that was jus supposed to be a lure trap or what.


    The second screen shot I only recently found that alcove and have put in a ticket on it. Probably wouldn't hurt to do the same if you haven't.

    And while you are at it: The Orb in Spellplague Carverns in the Mouth of Madness area is also blocked by a hidden wall.

    This one is a known issue. No idea why they haven't fixed it yet since it either requires a TR to trick through the wall or two runs through SP. Kind of annoying either way.
