how do i add item to trade chat for sale

how do I add an item to the trade chat...I know I can drag an item from my bag..but how do I add the item I want if I don't have it

    Control+click it (or was it shift click). This works not only from your inventory but from the AH, vendors, and the like.

    Shift+Click with cursor in text box

    Kolbe11 has it right, it's Shift+Click on the item you wanna link into the chat.

    IIRC, you can also drag powers from your powers menu into the chat box to show those, (I don't know if there's a hotkey to send those to chat, though).
