Its out now that you can control lock a TR by pressing CTRL when visible and can follow TR even when in stealth, I ask devs if it is even legit to have such mechanism?
If it were possible to locate TRs in stealth, what's the use of it? Its liek a basic ability of TRs useless!
Not only for permastealths, which will be seriously crying over it lol, it's injustice for every TR or is it not?

You have to see him in first place to lock him
Nice! I honestly like this mechanic, specially in PVP. I use Bilethorn to unmask opposing TR's much faster. But with this on, I probably won't even need Bilethorn anymore. What I'm curious about is if using ranged skills against us can still deal damage even when we're in stealth. Because technically, our opponent's will be locked on to us, but they aren't really targeting us. Nonetheless, this should reduce the complaints of people who have yet to deal with a TR's core mechanic in PVP.

Do you swap to a Bilethorn weapon and use an aoe so you can watch them dripping along or something?

Well, not exactly. But it's close. I switch to and from using Bilethorn and Plague Fire. All I do is throw Cloud of Steel knives at a visible TR. They usually stealth up when someone starts throwing something at em. But after 2 - 3 seconds their stealth will be depleted due to Bilethorn's damage that for some reason, reduces a TR's stealth meter quite drastically if they do not have Tenacious Concealment. This will reveal TR's a whole lot faster, giving me more opportunities to chuck daggers at them and target them with Gloaming Cut from range while regaining my distance via dodging immediately after hitting them with Gloaming Cut.
If they aren't visible, what I do is try to find them. It's not that hard to know where a TR is when in stealth because he will almost always be in locations that have strategic advantages to them. In nodes, they will be running around the edges of the node plate. Being in the middle gives them a higher chance of being ganked and detected. When they're not stepping on the nodes but in the tower plate itself, this is where the challenge starts. But typically, TR's will still be within close proximity of the node. After which I just spam Cloud of Steel again coated with Bilethorn and watch their Stealth drop a whole lot faster than mine.
Once they're out of Stealth, they will not be able to regain their Stealth easily without the use of Shadow Strike as long as they keep getting hit attacks that cause them to receive Bilethorn's effect where they are damaged after 4 seconds. And this is why Cloud of Steel is useful for these sort of jobs IMO. Its animation string is fast. Once it starts proc-ing one by one, the loss in Stealth is almost instantaneous.
Another way to find TR's as a Rogue is to hit them a couple of times using Cloud of Steel. The knives chucked at them will be visible for quite some time before it completely disappears which will help you predict his movement trajectory and behavior.

Ctrl lock + Path of the Baldes + stealth is way easier and you can enjoy your vorpal as well.
Ctrl lock your target, activate path of the blade, go into stealth, roll a couple of time towards your target, job done.
So basically, u guys agree to it huh. Let me get this straight, u want TRs that can be tracked while STEALTHED! What is the meaning of stealth then, just name it invisibility! Even community moderator is not smart enough to understand, well i expect the same from the particular person

You've just been told the precise conditions under which it works, i.e. not the one you keep stating because first you have to see the TR. Also, this has been around since the beginning of the game, i.e. alpha, not even beta. It is clearly not an exploit or bug, especially as a default keybinding available to all. So, what did you expect the reaction to be?
Finally, it is not even necessary to learn to use it since all the classes have ways to find or mitigate a perma TR.

Yeah I did that before, but Path of the Blades is not the most flexible skill in PVP. It doesn't crit or proc weapon enchantments which is sad. Once a person gets the hang of hunting down TR's in stealth, PoB can be overkill. But I like how it works well with Tenebrous.
I also have people use Path of the Blades against me. Sometimes it works, more often than not it doesn't as long as I have Tenacious Concealment slotted which I immediately do once I see someone being followed by a huge red circle. I'll kite around the opposing TR for a bit, throw daggers, and once Stealth is almost depleted, use Impossible to Catch to make him drain his encounters (Impact Shot, Lashing Blade, etc). His PoB which lasts 10 seconds is most probably over at this point in time. Most players who slot PoB against Stealth-based TR's are wired to immediately discharge what encounters they have out of cooldown for fast kills. While this will work on TR's without ITC, for the ones that have it slotted, PoB is pretty much negated.
But then again it's all up to a person's play style. That's just a workaround I do against my opponents who have this skill slotted in battle.

I'm sorry that our opinions do not match. But then again, a smart or skilled player will always find a way to work around this challenge. It's been out for quite some time now but I believe I've been doing pretty well in PVP even with it being used by other people.

Though the locking itself isn't actually working correctly for example with DC who has those AE skills where you target certain place instead of enemy. Locking places the circle behind the enemy. So this leads to question, is it intended that the lock keeps your target even if it enters stealth or you lose sight of it or it gets out of your range. Imo they should look more into this.
Its not about matching opinions, rather i ask whether is it correct to have such mechanism?
If Trickster Rogue have been taken their stealth, what sense does the name make anyway...

Or are u wanting to just make it more simple, the competition?
