Holy HAMSTER that vid Shows a Zombie Archer Class!

Zombie Archer class in Neverwinter... he never showed himself so I first and foremost assume he is a ZOMBIE!

    i was surprised when i saw that in the video.
    so guessing the archer class is finally being
    released? or is that just a teaser?

    It was said in the latest Interview from one of the Developers that the Forums had already sussed out a the new class. It will be release with the next module before the end of the year.

    So it was either a "Ranger or Necromancer" (by some Gaming site).

    So!!! I think this a big hint and would love to play an Archer class.

    Hi People.

    Look at the character that features in the trailer for the new sprite companion.

    Is that a bow and arrow I see on the guys back.

    So does that mean the next class out is the ranger?

    Only time will tell.

    After watching that video I don't know who's actually trolling... you or Cryptic.

    I mean, its the introduction vid for the sprite familiar. Which has all 'arrow' abilities. But in the whole video you only see the sprite holding a bow for like 1 second. The only arrow you can see is bigger than the sprite. And of course, at the end you see her hovering next to an archer.

    IDK, maybe I'm just cranky because they didn't make her an augment companion.

    Well the Series premier of "the Walking dead" I figured they went hand in hand... JK I just like ZOMBIES a little 2 much!

    Be careful how much you read into such things. Early videos clearly showed warlock players too, yanno.

    it shows a teaser view that there is a Archer class
    but have to wait for the servers to come back up
    to confirm it. cant wait, 1 hour of torture.

    I highly doubt we'll get a ranger when the server gets back, it might be a teaser for later tough.

    Well, looking to the time it takes to update today. (Midsummer event dind't took this long and that was bigger than this event) Also I'm downloading a 1GB patch atm, which seems a bit strange just for this event and some items/companion :)

    Edit: I don't think it will come live now, but at least some preparation for the future.

    1 gb? my download was around 580 mb or so :S

    I think you mean Warlock, not Necromancer.

    980MBish, can mistake a few MB's :). But I mean the part how much needs to be patched (next to the percentage), the actually size of the download is probally smaller according to the Launcher :p

    where exactly you see a zombie ?

    The size of the download listed will depend on whether you disable on demand patching. Those that have it off will have a larger download, but won't have to patch when they go into zones that have had changes. Could also be that it cuts out the launch videos that play when you create a new class as there are other versions for other languages. When I hit control+x while patching, I did see another such video as part of the patch.

    My bet is accessed preview shard vs not. Likely you had some skins/mapd etc downloaded

    watch the trailer for the sprite companion that was released today and take a good look at the players weapons gear at the end of the video big hints.

    Don't get how you think that could be a zombie...

    To me it looks like a ranger-class (or atleast any bow-based class) of any (Fantasy/Middleaged) RPG of last 10 years...
    But thought so it'll be a ranger, since A: its missing as basic game classes, B: there are a lot of bow trashies...
