Hello.

I think, and probably most other clerics do as well, that the new armor penetration on the items for Seals of the Dark Fey, and the icon / symbol from Malabog's castle / artificing is EXTREMELY useless and that the stat should be replaced with recovery! Back me up here DCs!

    Howdy.
I must say I oppose that change, strongly.
*Blows my own horn despite hating it* Here's a post I did on it regarding Femorian contra Ancient weapon set:
Assuming we're in full Miracle Healer(Reinforced Gauntlets) and full (offensive) ancients, we're at 2129 recovery, add a stone with offensive items and we gain another 436(T2 Icon), 473(ancient) or 382(Femorian) recovery, for a total of 2565/2602/2511 recovery, this is with nothing increasing it, in a party one could expect this to be increased by Prestidigitation, Rising Hope, Linked Spirit, and so on, so I doubt anyone actually needs the extra 462 recovery the Ancient set gives, not even the 207 from the Femorian set is needed, since we're having more than enough recovery already.
(This is without weapons counted in we get these values. 3k recovery with Ancient set isn't surprising in other words.)
I do not however claim that the ArP is very good on it, simply that we don't need more recovery, since... we don't.
A cleric easily reaches over 2k recovery w/o any enchantments for it, and using a 4/4 T2 set and a Ioun Stone can put you at about 2'650 recovery, without any enchantments for it (Even higher if one really tries). But, replacing the ArP with crit wouldn't be to bad, crit is always nice. Or Power, tho, think we all have more than enough of that (still scaling better than recovery tho).
