I'm not sure if I should go Fey Thistle (dmg on deflect), or Elvish Fury (stacking power buff for killing a foe). I'm not sure if Elvish Fury only grants you a stack if you land the killing blow or grants you a stack from a mob that dies that you hit even without landing the killing blow. But with rogues being boss killers the Elvish Fury seems more like a skirmish / trash clearing type boon.
I'm leaning towards Fey Thistle as any extra dmg against a boss is what I care about the most, but I would like to see other peoples advice on this.
On a side note I don't want the extra stamina regen...I know how to avoid red circles without it and don't care for the 10% more hp on pots either.
If you're seriously trying to compete with CWs and GWFs on trash damage and overall damage, then I suppose go for it, but i'm also giong to call you a bit daft for trying to compete with CWs and GWFs on trash. Maybe if you're at the gear level where "every little bit helps" actually matters, in which case it depends on how often you think you'll have at GF with you and how many CWs; if you often have an honest tank then the deflect one won't be that good, if you typically have 2-3 CWs in party then the one from killing blows won't be as good.
Personally I have the stamina one, because I tank CN/MC, once I get my deflect set going however I'll take the deflect one for that purpose. (+10% really isn't noticable)

I have deflect one. it works for both stealth and non-stealthed impossible to catch, which was the only reason I took it.
It's entirely lackluster as mobs attack far too slow for it to do anything. And that's with 100% deflect 5 seconds out of every 14. The amount of mobs you'd need to be hitting you for the damage to be noticable will basically 1 shot you even with 75% deflect severity, nevermind whenever ItC ends.
I have the fury one on my CW. it applies the buff whenever you are part of killing something that dies, not just killing blow. I have 30 stacks of it up constantly. I also end dungeons with something like 200-500 mobs killed, where as my TR usually has 60-100, thus for my play style it's nearly worthless on a TR. If you use Path of the Blade or something just to get on more kills i guess it might work out but I can't waste an encounter for that ability so.
I'm probably going to switch to 10% potion or 10% stamina whenever I respec. Obviously neither of these are good enough to justify wasting even a free respec for, but whenever I do decide to respec at some point in the future it'll be to something I change.

the power is just not worth it to run after each little mob.
