Losing Leader Status in PvP and PvE

for some reason, when I get to be the Leader of a group (pvp & pve), after we Queue for dungeon, skirmish, pvp, I get stripped of my leader status.

What is with this?

    Yeah, I never quite understand this since it happens even with a full group!

    If you enter the map 4/5 the lead automatically goes to the last random guy who joined you on Que. Stupid system if you ask me.

    Ask the lead back politely, if he don't want too, recall your friends (assume they are) and redo the party. LOL.

    noticed that also, since last patch.
    before it feld a bit random, who gets lead - there was a time the one who hits first accept gets lead..
    These days ... with premade 4/5 the one random dude gets lead...
    Also I got often lead by being the last one who accepted...

    Well, me and my friends just lost a last minute join during DD event, because our only PuG in the group (a GF) became Party Leader getting out of the last dungeon and he didn't manage to queue the party again on time, despite us telling him exactly what to do (it's unbelieveable how clueless people can be sometimes) he didn't even know how to pass the lead.
    So yeah, I don't get it either, but again, this queue system has problems even worse than that.

    this happens all the time and not since last patch. the only time this is an issue is when lead lands on someone that doesn't know what to do and time is a factor... like in gauntlegrym. any other time, it doesn't seem to matter.

    I think, could be wrong, that it was coded this way because during open beta there was a lot of complaints from people joining up from the queue system and getting the boot from the 4/5 premade because that party didn't like the class/GS.
