As far as I can figure, this FX is great but is there a way to change the source?
What I mean is, if I have 3 of them, they all aim towards the top right corner of the map
Has anyone figured this out yet? I have same issue (but mine only aims at the south west edge of the map). I really like the FX but unless I can change where the Electrical Energy Beam aims, it's not very useful.

Ditto on this subject.
I can set the 'endpoint' of the beam.. but the source is always somewhere .. far away. I assume on ground maps the source is the sky, but on my skymap, the source is a mountaintop below.. =/
Is there any 'beam' effect that goes between tWO subjects/objects/components? (i.e. similar to a projector, two boxes, one is 'start beam' one is 'end beam' ? )

Thanks for all the fish.
Nope. That's the way it's always been and I've never even heard a rumor of anyone being able to change it -- I've tried several times myself as well rotating the endpoint all kinds of different ways to no effect.
You can possibly use something like Energy Pillar (think that's it) it's got a limited length, but is not adjustable other than angular.
I think I've also used "Energy Seep" and lined up several above the terrain to make a sort of a beam.
Best bet is to just browse throught the effects and try raising some above ground and see how they look.
