Please note that we have raised some of our minimum requirements to join, to better reflect the gear level and quality of current members. As of now we require a minimum of 12K GS (14K+ is advised).

The guild has now a new recruitment officer. *ahem* It's me. what a surprise. So in the future, you may also contact me at @acidaid to get in. I will also help you out in the guild, answering questions and try to make you feel right at home.

On a side note, the guild is also planning it's next event on Wednesday. This time it's an RP night with a dice-based give away of free loot. =P I don't know much more either, but we will surely tell you the full deal on a later date.

I am interested in getting a little more information about your guild. Look me up on either Willimina or Eigil @Tickdoff.

Will do tickdoff. Noted your name down already. Once the server-update is done right now I'll look you up properly and send you a mail.

Other than that, our event was a success after some starting problems. :o Accidently misread the time and was late, but since i wasn't the only one, we shifted the timetable and more people came than it was planned. Basically it was a lottery of different items, companions, buff-granting items, masks and for the laugh of it fireworks. I believe everybody that joined got something out of it.

May I also add that you could check out our website if you haven't already ('Information' panel about our basic info, RP concept, founders etc). We are a bit more than 40 players atm playing on a daily basis, very active as always. Doing a lot of dungeons and other PvE content, PvP domination mostly for the dailies, and a lot of GG lately again ;-)
Hopefully next major patch will have greatly improved PvP as many players are asking for a long time now and not just a stupid fest for pay to win (BiS) wanabes. Any descent PvP fan knows it's all about skill and balance, and that's what we want to see in this game too ;) plus some Guild vs Guild content. Great room for improvement on PvE too, since we lack raiding (10+ player groups) content and complex/challenging boss fights

Got to agree on that front. best bet to get an invite or our attention is to sign up on our website and forum or to write us a lil about yourself as a guest there. ^^ Both at the same time would be preferred. We do want our members to be social, to work together and to have fun together. No chance there if everybody is in their own corner brooding.

I've been asked on how active we are, so let's just put it that way: Within an hour of picking my key to Malabogs castle up, i was storming said castle with my guild. Upon hitting Level 60 and the required GS my guild dragged me along through Pirate King. Yes i know PK is easy, but as a first run with a build you dont have a handle on yet? Yes... I was dragged along, or so it felt. First time we had a wipe on that dungeon as a guild AFAIK. Eps, correct me if i am wrong, but i rather remember the 20 minutes legit PK runs, not wipes.

The other day, some of us went to enjoy the dungeon delve in the guild. did a full run on Spellplague and ToS. 3GWF, 1CW and 1HR. All legit. All beaten and looted. On a plus side we also discussed our builds afterwards, well me and one other. Got tips on how to go on with my HR. what gear to use, how to put my GS the best way, tactics on the endbosses, yes. it was quite informative. ^^
If you want to join in on the fun, simply contact me or immediately hop over to our site and forum and sign up there. that will surely get our attention.

Lately we got quite some people interested into the guild. it leaves me more chatting than actually playing but that's rather nice too. :o The upside on that is that with more active curious players we can do more dungeon runs. Yesterday we had two groups. One doing an apparently quick Spellplague and MC, while i was in a group that tried out Epic Dread Vault. We didnt manage the boss in the end, it was fun to try tho.
With our newer members on board, there's also more live going on on Raidcall. Had a nice conversation going on during the dungeon. I hope it will draw more people to that place to socialise!

Well, well. Recruitment is going on well. Some more joined our holy ranks. A big and hearty welcome to them! As from what i understood when talking to them, they seem to be happy with us. ;) They all immediately could join in some dungeon runs as i was told. well. With some i had the fortune to come along and it's like always, the more, the merrier. So when will YOU join us?

Well well. we got another bank depository. we are sporting now 2 only reserved for epic and endgame gear (purples and level 60 blue gear). Of course that is not all we got, the other bank slots (consumables, low level gear, specials and refinement stuff) still remains.
We also plan to thin out our ranks, to unburden us from our inactives, to make those leave that already left us behind. So maybe we will start again a recruitment event where we will also accept players that not fully hit our requirements. We will announce a recruitment like that here again if that is the case.

Please also note that we had a post in this thread reported and removed. it is quite possible that all posts after that also got removed, so if you applied here and got no answer, please forgive us and simply try again.

We are restructuring in Opus Dei at the moment.
It seems that some of our previous requirements and advertising campaigns have been giving the wrong message to some people, for example that we are elitist and loot hungry. This was never true, since this guild had been created and developed from day 1 to value people over gear and quality over quantity, providing a safe, mature and drama-free gaming environment.
We are moving towards a more casual and mature policy focused on players of older age, and a more relaxed atmosphere with camaraderie, social interaction and above all having fun.
Please check the updated OP as well as this link http://opusdei.abyssportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=480631&ForumID=2328230&TabID=4143088&Replies=0&TopicID=10422695
You can contact @epsilon1977, @dunkkin, @ozzrict, @rufamuton, @durutti13 if interested in our guild, or post a reply here providing your account name so we can contact you in-game.

    Have fun in Neverwinter.

Recruiting is going well, we had lots of new blood in the last few days ;)
May I remind that we are actively seeking mature and legit players (aged at least 25 years old) and we are also friendly to new and/or returning players. Levels below 60 might also be considered, if we feel you would fit in nicely with the guild.

    Hey guys,

I'm looking for a mature social friendly guild.
I came to see some posts from your guild and been looking at your website.

I'm interested and would like to join with you.

My Real name is Peter and I live in Denmark my my GF and our daughter. I'm 27 years old and have been playing MMO' the last 9 years. WOW for almost 9 years, Rift, Aion ann some others for shorter periods.

I've been playing NW in the beta and I've recently returned.

I'm playing a CW at lvl 60 with about 12,5k GS.
I'm not realy experienced in end game content (the last tiers) but eager to learn.

I've tried finding a good guild online but I got tired from all the "kids" acting rude and the general behavior from many people online. My hope to continue playing is to find a mature guild with some grown up people who respect eachother and have room to give new players a chance to learn without getting upset and trashing me if I make a simple mistake.

I've only been lv 60 for a short period of time but I'm not a eager to improve my skills.
Mostly i'm on every day at least a few hours. Some days much more.

The only issue with my play is that if my daughter (she' 1½) wakes up crying (during the night) and i need to leave asap to check on her.
I've been trashed and kicked before cus she was crying and I had to go.

I need to play with people who can respect situations like that without going crasy on me :)

I hope to hear from you.

My in gange charactor is Neonbabs@Neoncw if you want to speak with me first.
I'm happy to be on TS, VT, mumble or whatever :)

    Regards, Peter

    Welcome to Module 3.

We are going back into actively recruiting again, as many players will be returning for the expansion.
Please read through our recruitment thread here (at least the updated OP) and website (link in my signature).
Opus Dei is not for players looking to join 'any guild', so make sure you understand what this guild is about and whether or not you could be a good fit before inquiring about joining.
If you can't be bothered to read for a few minutes then we won't be bothered with you.

Always active and legit since open beta.

    Greetings from Opus Dei.

We are currently waiting for Module 4. Recruitment is now closed, except for family & close friends of current members. You're still free to express your interest in the guild either here or on our website though.
We will update if we open up recruitment again, but that is likely to happen after the summer holiday season.

Thank you all for your interest in Opus Dei.

    Greetings everyone.

I would like to announce that Opus Dei will carry on with a new name, under new leadership.
Through the course of time all founders and most core members have left Neverwinter, and myself have lost most of my interest in the game for reasons more or less known to old players. We have already appointed a new leader and I will remain too in the new guild as a casual officer and player to help things out, until I move on to next-gen MMOs (no need to ask which).

I would like to thank everyone who had an interest in Opus Dei since open beta and give my best regards to our allies in the Legit Guilds Alliance: Mythweavers, Old Timers Guild, and Older Gamers. Best wishes and respect also to Tyr's Paladium who have been a legit and mature guild like us. Neverwinter is a bad game for guilds, let alone guild alliances, but we have tried since the early days for the best.

Moderators feel free to lockdown this thread. The new leader will make a new recruitment thread with new title and content if he wishes to.

The thing is, there are no guild wars, guild halls, etc... all the stuff you can do in a guild can be replaced with the mail + friend list...
