the way i stabilized my framerate...

ok,i searched all over the interweb trying to find fix for my framerate dips and lags to no avail.i tried every fix suggestion i found and it did nothing for my issue.going from 60 FPS to 5 FPS every 30 seconds no matter where i was in game,even standing still.i was about to just give up on this game that i really like.
my specs:
AMD FX-4170 quad core 4.2 ghz
PNY GTX 560
8 gigs ram
1920 x 1080 2ms monitor
ok,more than enuff specs on paper to run this game?...ummm..yea....
fix is a compromise of sorts,in video options under troubleshooting,lock FPS to 30
my framerate never goes below 29,exception in town will drop here and there,expected.
so 30 to 29 FPS stabile was FAR better than 60 to 5 FPS to me and i was able to boost a bunch of other graphic options to boot.i now enjoy this game i was about to quit.i hope this helps others that where in same boat.

    I downloaded NVIDIA game helper (not the right words but is was a while ago) and it basically put everything on lowest. Then I just tweaked till I had stable game play with good enough graphics too be happy. No more in game lag.

    So without this, I suggest turn everything to basically zero and work up.

    Limiting Framerate to 30 and increasing the Graphic Memory to 1024+ did it for me. I now enjoy smooth FPS and better graphics ;)

    the framerate drops is all tied to one setting, max debris physics. turn this option down and you will not experience the frame rate crawls.

    You have a pretty good card...I dont know why you cant run the game. Spider bite？ Did you also play PWI? I remember seeing that name somewhere.
