Any new DC PvE Builds?

Looking for a new, DC hybrid build that's able to do decent DPS and good healing. All the old builds seem to rely on outdated info. While their is a 'new' DC build posted, it's for PvP and I'm looking for a PvE build.

What's good for the PvP DC is generally what's good for the PvE DC whether you are talking about a support focus or a DPS focus. Some exceptions might be that PvE clerics might find it easier or more desirable to spec further into the Faithful tree for the additional heal and stat-boosting feats.

I will say, though, that Righteous has served me very well in both PvE and PvP. Healing Step may not sound particularly fancy, but it allows for greater positioning power and immunity in seas of red cones and circles. Warding Shield is nice to fill between Astral Shields if you are using BoH in congested dungeon areas, and Power of Oppression is a good alternative if you want something that will have a more consistent use in PvP.

Gear-wise you could certainly do fine with the mish-mash blue sets some players are rocking for tanky PvP, but you are rarely taking the kind of focused CC and burst damage in PvE as you will in PvP. Need some defensive ability, but your party needs decent heals as well.

I think that a DC has to be tanky and heal, if you want to do DPS it's better rolling something else :p

Yeah, I kind of forgot to specify this is my own reply. There's only so much "hybrid" you can do with only 3 encounter slots. Most DCs who fancy themselves running hybrid load-outs mean that they are using Astral Shield and Divine Glow + Daunting Light etc., which works great when your party is able to faceroll the dungeon or you end up with two DCs, but if your party is not top-notch or the dungeon mechanic is otherwise difficult for them, the hybrid thing usually needs to go out the window.

Bingo! Be tanky, heal group and lay down Hallowed Ground. Select Feats and Boons for tanky and heal. Make sure Moontouched Feat and Benefit of Foresight is maxed.
