Hello all.. Im sure you have seen the nice nightmare weapons and the sinister weapons on sale for 1000 tarmalune.
You will notice the nightmare gear is conveniently BOE so you can trade it to another toon easily, or even sell it or gift it to a friend.
It costs a lot of time and money to acquire 1000 tarmalune so after spending probably over 100 dollars it's nice to have a modicum of freedom with your purchase right?
Fellow gamers meet the 'sinister gear' truly befitting it's intentions. At first glance it is offensive to us players because it is now BOP. You can't sell it, gift it, or trade it to a friend. In the past you were able to transmute to a non-bound piece to trade these items, but now you can not.
I bought this item and to my chagrin I realized I had to spend 50k to pay an 'unbinding' fee. That's not where it ends though. The transmuted item is ALSO BOUND!
So here I am....with a GF holding 1000 tarmalune cosmetic item I can neither trade or equip.
You may ask "Why if this is intended is it eve listed for sale outside your class?" well look to the 'sinister' nature of the item and the people running this game.
Here is the official response I received when I asked them to fix this wrong.

So after supporting this game with my wallet this is what I get.
In a nut shell I was told 'Wow sucks to be you.....deal with it.'
So I do wonder where it is written that transmuting an item binds it? No where... the game doesn't tell you.
So I wonder if this is 'working as intended' then why is it even for sale to classes that can't use it?
Please would a developer enlighten me and answer?
