I have searched the forums and the Neverwinter gamepidia wiki and cannot find where to you get Tailors? Yes you hire Weavers and upgrade them to Outfitters and upgrade those to Assistant Tailors, but he next upgrade is Tailors to Master Tailor. How do you get from Assistant Tailor to Tailor?
You cant. There is no way to upgrade a white to a green asset*. The good news is they are not needed. You can make everything with white assets. The higher quality workers only improve speed. And the higher quality tools will only increase success on the few items that have more then one success option. None of that is needed for leveling
*Well nearly no option. There is a near impossibly small chance that when you create an assistant tailor youll get a green asset instead.
There is a small chance while upgrading a white to the next level of crafter that the quality will improve to green. I had this happen to me when training a weaponsmith up. I believe it can happen to any 'colour' of crafter but I've only seen white-to-green.

You get them from some assets boxes for zen (^^)... or from the AH. When you are level20, the only worth things to make and sell are gemmed epic pants and shirts, so when that rare option shows up, you want to make as many as possible (and get closer to the 60/40 - which looks more like 40/60 btw) and pay AD to speed it up. with all purple tailors, this mean about 47k AD.
If you dont speed it up, it is 94k AD to speed it up and hence making it impossible to make a profit...
This is the only reason why you need these speed workers...

uhh no. If you slot all grandmaster tailors for an exquisite pants or shirt, your guaranteed to get a rank 1 result. Rank1 sells for significantly less then 47k AH. So there is no way to make an insta-profit off that.
The only way to make a reasonable profit is to slot 4 quality assets, get lucky and sell the rank 3 result. Speeding up the process will pretty much negate most profit as your looking around 50k +40k dragon egg - 90k vs what they sell for (~140-150k at best -10% = ~130-140k). ~130k - at least 40% loss from not getting rank 3 results - no real profit.
So actually, what matters most is the far more expensive quality assets. Having a grandmaster or not won't matter as you're not going to get one done in the 1hr rare time frame either way.

So spend Zen on profession kits or upgrade outfitters and keep my fingers crossed. Thanks for the info.

I never stated that placing 4 grandmasters would do anything but ...speeds up time to completion...
grandmasters are only used to speed up time, hence reducing cost of "speeding up" the completion of items... With a grandmaster, you gain 50% and the cost to speed up is indeed 50%, or 47,000 AD.
At most you can have 3 running concurrently. When I used to do this, I would create as much shirts/pants as I could by placing 3, spending 120k and running 3 again, until I had no more AD and waiting for normal completion.
At the peak, I could make about 20 shirts/pants, then sell them. I started doing this right around the timora's box event which brought down the cost of these from around 300k per shirt/pants down to 140kAD... I was making north of 1MAD per day reselling them... After that, I sold the tools, because of profit loss, but also because the game consisted in doing only that all day long in PE...
I agree with you, the profit is not what it used to be but still is around 50k per shirt/pants AFTER taking into account non-gemmed results... You gotta do it up to 15-20 shirts everytime you have a chance tho. otherwise, not worth it.
My 2 cents

If this ever did happen, it was a bug. This is not the intended behavior at all.

You are WAY better off converting Zen to AD on the exchange and buying the crafters that you want, than buying profession kits.

Incorrect. It has been confirmed as an intended feature.
