Whaddup I'm fairly new to Neverwinter. I'm at level 23 or 24, I forget, so obviously quite the newbie. Anyway, I updated the patch and all that but for some reason, once I leave the Uplauncher after clicking Play, the game screen freezes? I can't even make it to the character selection. I've tried several times, nothing. Any suggestions? My computer is rather cheap, but not that cheap so saying "oh your computer just sucks and can't handle the awesomeness" is not a plausible reason in my book! I'm going to restart my computer right now I think, but I really can't imagine it making a difference.

I didn't want this to go by without any kind of comment. But Ill be upfront and say i'm hardly the best techie out there...so best to say my help is going to be limited.
That out of the way. There isn't much detail to go with from your post. Best suggestion is to stick with the simple answers. From the launcher make sure you go into options and run a "Force verify" your patch might of got glitched and that can fix it. You can also see if you can run the game in safe mode, that alone can eliminate hardware issues. If you are outside the US, might want to set up a proxy in the option menu as well. It couldn't hurt and has been known to fix issues.
Hopefully, you already have this fixed. And if not, hope you figure it out soon. Good luck.
A couple thoughts.. First.. search the forums.. There are a number of posts on this topic. I just answered a couple of them.. My other thought without more information is to start the game client with the "safe mode" option selected and see if that lets you boot...
