Simple supply and demand problematic.
Last patches were clearly aimed to do HUGE inflation of prices in game for both AD and Zen.
While it succeed in AD, (lowered supply of items to roughly by 95% plus daily AD increase and demand remained same because they didnt add almost any new desirable equipment),
in Zen it failed - they made nessary to pay Zen(you or somebody else) to get top equipments (assests, sparks etc. all for Zen), however they didnt made it desirable so the demand of those remained very low and so Zen prices remained roughly same.

There just isn't enough fluff in the Zen Shop to keep AD circulating. No point creating a demand for Zen->AD if there is little demand for AD->Zen.

Fluff it up guys. ;)

they just need to do another -15% off 10 pack of key sales so that people can finish off the remaining nightmare boxes and zen prices will go up.

once all the nightmare boxes are gone though, key sales won't do much because feywild boxes are absolute HAMSTER.

People should stop bragging about rough AD numbers or equating them to real AD. Why? If you play a decent amount of time, you will fill the rough AD to 24K/day without even knowing, from salvaging HAMSTER, Leadership, whatever. Actually, you will build a TON more rough AD than you need after you start running GG/DDs/PvP daily, because seals will build in the hundreds and you won't need them at all, so you will have to buy gear that would be very, very useful to a newbie, and destroy it for measly rough AD HAMSTER to add to your collection. Which you don't need either, cause you already have 100K staying there ad rotting.

So no, rough AD =/= real AD, which is actually wealth that can buy stuff you need. To get those it's either farm like crazy hoping you will win rolls, or dip into your real money pockets.
