I never revived no one coz i loze my dps then and 8 gs cw beats me at karrundax lol
You need to fix your build then if you are getting out DPS'd by lower geared characters. Only an elite playing CW should out dps a GWF, nothing else should touch you.
I know your being funny, and I laughed too. But this isn't the truth for a skilled GWF. We can perform the roles of two other classes almost as well (we can tank the boss or tank the adds, and we can do enough damage to take down the bosses solo if need be, just takes longer), and in a pinch we can stand in for a second CW heading to the boss (wouldn't suggest it unless you had to, but come and get it and roar are like a kids version of singularity and push).
We don't generate threat, though, so we can't tank adds near as well as a GF can (our damage/threat generation is enough for bosses, but not a mass of adds), which I personally feel needs improved. And our outright damage isn't as high as a TR, meaning we take longer to kill the boss off.
To me, it doesn't matter who topped the charts as long as the team pulls the run off successfully and in appropriate time. And the GWF is simply more capable of doing many roles than others.
And @Axis: I try really hard to be understanding of those for whom English isn't a first language. For most of us in the US of A, English isn't really our first language either. That said, I can't understand a **** thing your mumbling about or saying, besides it sounding a little arrogant and generally off topic.
I don't think people realize how much damage the GWF soaks during a run. For MC with no GF for example, I will soak so much damage that the CW's and TR's don't take. Even If I am not "holding aggro", as long as I am taking the first wave of hits it is enough to avoid them getting 1-2 shotted.
Lol ok kiddo. Soon as you get your pampers in order you let me know
Find it hilarious how you run your mouth saying you beat everyone 1 vs 1, I post a challenge to you, then you come up with all sorts of silly HAMSTER and stipulations.
You don't get to openly call someone out, then critique the gear they have, and require they are the exact same as you.
/facepalm
lol never said i beat 1v1 everyone just same gear gwf. i get to do what ever logic demands not what you want silly boy. im making a new build right now coz i was not happy with old one,i was making a point that same gear gwf cant beat me. so no chance i fight some top gear gwf with lol.and i was not calling anyone out you were i just took the challenge and made it fair.so only even gear comes in the question.and for the record i would made it today against any build but was banned with all my assets had to start from scratch.

GWF nerf was extremely unwarranted. Tene enchants were, and are still, the real problem here. But oh well. My CW hit 60 shortly before GWF died, so now I'm a CW! My GWF has 7 crafting slots, so he gets to generate some extra AD.
My CW survivability is not quite what my GWF is post nerf, but my damage is about 4x without even trying. My group utility is far better, as well. (primarily talking about PvE. I don't PvP due to extreme lack of balance)

You my friend are on the nose about the teneborus rune, a simple solution to it is make them not stackable so if you have something ridiculous like 4+ slotted only one will proc, now before the tene abusers cry bloody murder all you have to do is unslot and ah them to recoup most of your losses. That would effectively make the gwf nerfs completely redundant across the board (not just nerfing every spec because of one stupid p2w enchant).
p.s. dear combat designers, you can thank me later.

Honestly, it seems that there are a lot of enchantments and attachments which are simply too powerful when used by certain classes, and break the system.
It's not the classes fault, it's the lack of serious diminishing returns gear.

Yep, the major flaw is that it negates the loss of power when someone stacks for 100% survivability. It's a very serious flaw that remains to this day. Then, rather than fixing the problem, they just nerfed GWF survivability on the whole and ruined the class.
But it hasn't killed our class. It removed players who didn't really fit in with the class and were simply playing GWF because it was so easy, and this angry bunch has made it hard for GWF's to get into dungeons, that's for sure.
In PvP, we're still great, but to attain that nigh-invulnerable state requires a lot more gear and enchants and work than it did before. The gap between poor players (poor in gear or poor in skill) versus good players has been greatly increased, which is a good thing. Players SHOULD know when they got hit by a good player, and the vast majority of GWF's right now are trash at best, which helps the good ones stand out better.
Chuckled when I saw the first lines. Yup, and now those all play Control Wizards.
Second part, I have to disagree. One of the main problems that make complaints about the GWF being OP is the tenbrous/soulforged/immunity issue. Facts are that the majority of so called 'good' GWF use this OP setup that causes issues in terms of game mechanics for PvP. But, guess what it applies to all classes. Most TR that are 'good' same thing - no skill just rely on stealth up path of blades/impact shot and tenebrous.
Good players really cant be tracked in this game - no long term standings for PvP recorded. Would be interesting though, because both my GWF and TR are usually top in the standings for PvP - and I refuse to use the enchants that exploit poor game mechanics and design.

I have to agree here, on both accounts. The first, about CW's, is probably more true than most think. After the GWF nerf, GG and Arena filled with GFs, which I felt were the former GWF army looking for that same amount of tankiness. But within two weeks or so, it became a CW household, with wizards everywhere. CW, I feel, are the official FotM at the moment, and because of that I expect to see some nerfs coming down the pike, nerfs I don't personally approve of but feel are coming because Crypitc watches metrics more than actual player activity.
And about certain attachments and enchants breaking the game? Couldn't agree more. Class balance is so focused on high-end gear, but there are several instances where the perfects and greaters really push things over the edge.
The solution to it is simple and easy, too. In any PvP scenario (Gauntlegrym, Arena, or any future events), temporarily reduce all attachements to greaters or normals. When the match is over, let them output like normal.
