raising companion?

Hi all :)

I have the portal puppy at lvl 20 now, was wondering if worth spending the astrals so can take her to 25?

I love my pup but dont want waste my points if wont see a decent increase.

    Sorry, gotta ask... portal puppy? Is that Skeletal Dog? If so, a big confused, as my skeletal dog (rare) is already default of max rank 25... so that leads me to think... the unthinkable... did I miss a companion opportunity?!!?

    As for Astral Diamond cost... that's a hefty cost, imo... I currently have the Stone of Might, planning to upgrade it to 25 (though not 30, 750k AD from 25->30 is not worth it). Now, if you're one of those individuals whom don't have a hard time obtaining AD and can spare it... go for it... otherwise, I don't think it would help much...

    In group efforts such as dungeons, non-augmented companions can be more of a hassle then a help. If you're thinking of purely soloing purposes or mostly play in a solo/duo/trio with friends... I'm not sure that stat increase would be of better help than alternatives (such as higher ranking Enchantments/Runestones) for the price of the AD it would cost to ugpgrade.

    Hope that was helpful! I love my lil piggy Oinkers and was quite surprised at how strong he can hold his own and bring him out to keep me company when doing solo things or even duo things or helping out a friend with a quest or something. Though, despite my fondness of Oinkers (and his surprising vitality and humorous mud splashes), I wouldn't imagine upgrading him. =\

    I think the costs are way too high. As a casual player it's just way too much to think about. That said going from 20-25 will give your pet the last gear spot. In this case it looks like a belt. Going from 25-30 would give the last skill unlock (though costs a lot of AD).

    For me I don't think it's worth it. But if you love your pet, have the AD, and want to max it go for it.
