So everyone knows dodge in this game is buggy at best, not going to explain if you dont know then you dont pve or pvp.
An example of something new I've been having happen to me in the last 4 days.
Fighting a GWF in PvP. Completely open ground, no LoS areas or possible planing issues of getting stuck. GWF does his Stomp ability while I'm at range, I then run towards him and dodge/roll through him. Instead of dodging any attack, I have been getting pulled back in reverse and set in front of them, being hit/stunned by their ability.
Its like I'm being rewound, when I should have dodged any ability. I've had it happen with CW's and GF's also. I know its not a FPS, graphical, or Connection issue, or ping issue. I pvp constantly, and I've only noticed it in the last 4 days. Feels like dodge is slowly breaking more then it already is.
Anyone else having any issues like these? Or possible reasons why its happening all of a sudden?
thats called latency and has something to do with your and his ping and how fast the server responds...and in your example the GWF had a lower ping and thus the server responds to his action and rubberbands you back into where you belong in the servers view (instead of where you are in your view cause your view is wrong compared to what the server sees...and the server always wins)

Yah I'm aware of latency issues...but I've only noticed it the last 4 days..., and its totally random =/
It's not a problem related to TRs dodge, it's a latency issue, you may have seen this happening more lately because the servers have been experiencing some lag spikes on peak hours (at least, me and my friends had) but not everyone from every country is affected by it according to some of my guildies, so I'm assuming we will all have different views about this depending on where we're connected from (country-wise) on top of the usual, the-further-way-from-the-server-you-live-the-worst-ping-you-have.
Anyway, totally unrelated to your issue but, the "stomp" ability GWFs use in PvP (well, in PvE too sometimes) is called Takedown, and it's not a "stomp" but it's a hit with the hilt of the sword. :P

Heh thanks GWF/GF only class's I dont play. I know what the encounters do and what to look for solely because of PvP, obviously not sure on all the names of them =P
And yah, that makes sense with the latency issue. It seems around 5pm everyday now I am getting some rubberbanding and seeing these things happening especially in pvp.
