I'm going to be leveling up a CW in the near future and I'm wondering what is a decent set to start out with once I hit 60? HV is going for around 2 million AD for the set, so I won't be able to pick that up anytime soon. I've leveled up a cleric and rogue and had a pretty good idea on what to snag before going for the higher stuff, but I haven't really seen anyone mention any other gear besdies HV. After a quick glance at the AH, I'm hoping to be able to snag possibly 2 HV and maybe 2 Focal Magi? Should I just go for a 4 piece of some tier 1 pve/pvp gear instead?
If there is a post on this already, please link it. Thanks for any information ahead of time.
If not for the massive debuff HV gives (normal and bugged) the GG set would have been superior by quite a margin. So you can go with it.
Also unless you are rich do NOT buy HV set items from AH.
Run the following dungeons during DD and eventually you will get the set:
Karru for gloves.
FH for boots.
Spell for head.
CN for tunic, I think spider works too.
Took me only 7 DD runs in total, but that might have been my luck. DD chest does not always give you the t2 set items.
After analyzing other CW sets, I'm of the firm opinion they are all garbage. Only HV and GG are good choices, you could use 2-set as well but for only 4xx more of a stat you give up 10-20% TAB dps boost GG provides.

The Gauntlgrym PvP set seems to be a pretty nice 4 piece though and at 210 Grym coins it's just a matter of playing a load of GG runs.
