Preview gear - Please revert.

When I started to play NW, the preview of gear was much better.
When you clicked on a piece of armour or weapon it would come up in the preview window without your char and without armour overlapping each other and you could turn things around and see them.
Today it's impossible to see stuff from the back when there is no lights there and with the overlapping it's really a pain.
I suggest you swap back to the old way of previewing.

    If there is a really good preview, no one will buy accidentally something they don't want and then have to spend more to buy something else until they find what they really want.

    Also, the annoying bug where my TR previews stuff bouncing around in a combat crouch. Makes it even harder to see the gear.
    I suggest you swap back to the old way of previewing.

    edit: Yes, a better preview system would be the best result. But reverting to the older version could be a quick way to improve things until they came up with that better system. :)

    Ho do you preview in the first place? Haven't found a key where I can preview an item which is on auction house.

    Right click and click on Change Appearance

    *Edit. Sorry misread. You can't preview from AH or vendors. As far as I know you need to have it in your inventory.

    I also noticed the overlaping, so I have not transmuted anything. So that is in preview only. It will look right outside the preview screen?

    "Fix" is to unequip what you're wearing before you go to change appearance (or disable visuals if helm / cape / etc.), but yes, the old preview was better in that it had better lighting and no overlap. Only drawback was not actually seeing how your character looked in the clothing. But with TRs it's annoying now anyway since they don't have a neutral stance like everybody else does.
