Rehash: Ability to save builds/skill setups

Greetings,

As someone who mains a Control Wizard I find myself changing skills often when running dungeons. Primarily all my skills are AoE skills (including passives) but at certain points in most dungeons I need to swap out some of those skills for single-target skills. I have two setups I constantly switch between and at this point I'm so familiar with where the skills are located in the Powers window I've swapped out all skills in 5-6 seconds (as long as none are on cooldown) but having a dedicated button that instantly changes all my skills with another setup I've prepared would be much nicer.

The button could function similarly to changing weapons in Guild Wars 2. There would be a cooldown on all your skills, so changing back and forth to spell-cycle like crazy wouldn't be possible. The balancing side of it I haven't given much thought but I'm sure some of you have an idea. Anyway, I would like such a button.

I have two different configurations myself - one for solo play and one for groups - sure, swapping between those just involves replacing one daily and one encounter power, but it would be really nice to have a way to select a configuration just by clicking a button. Now, if that was expanded to allow people to have different armor sets or even different feat/power selections, I am sure that many players would actually be willing to pay $$$ for it. Kind-of surprising that Cryptic/PWE is not trying to get income from this.

I was just telling a guildie how we need this. As a GWF I don't use same powers for clearing trash as I do bosses.

I was thinking about this earlier.

I play a DC, and often have to switch between healing powers for dungeons, and damage dealing powers for soloing/dailies. It would be nice to switch loadouts with the click of a button instead of dragging powers from the window.

My main is a DC that I also have to swap powers on when I'm soloing quests instead of dungeoning. I don't know for sure, but I wonder if there's a way to set up a macro for something like this. I don't know how it's done personally and there might be instructions for this specifically elsewhere on the forum, but it could be worth experimenting with.
