BUGS are destroying the game

Or should I say BOTS are destroying the game?!

I have been levelling a CW a little on the side of my mains. Partly just for fun and also to mess around a little with spec's on him to see what he can do.

Anyway....

I was level 59 earlier today and came to the "Xorlarrin outpost" quest in Whispering Caverns.
When I got to the entrance I was thinking I might be better off with a questing buddy, so I started to LFG to get one.

While standing there waiting and talking to people I realised that that place is indeed BOT-infested!

I counted no less then 30 "people", all rouges (most halflings) with perculiar names that did nothing then pop out of the dungeon, stand around a second and pop back in again.

I tried adding a few to my party but that didn't help.

It's really sad that this can go on unpunished. I would love to see people using bots in games where one part of the currency is tradeable for real money to get arrested for real, for the break of ToS they are doing.

If nothing else it lowers the joy and belief that all that are playing are equal unless you choose to pay some for special treatment, which is ok by me.

I'll adress support an in-game-ticket with 25 or so short names of the bots that was running the dungeon, when I get home from work later today.

CRYPTIC - allowing bots or exploits, or actually endorcing them as you did with the "lucky" Heavy Nightmare-winners is really what will kill this game for me eventually.
Make it stop allready!

Well written and I totally agree. What exploits were used with the Nightmare winners?

Glad to see at least one person that agrees that exploiting or such behaviour isn't what a videogame should be about.

It would be very refreshing to hear an official answer from PWE what they are actually doing to confront these pieces of ....

I just made a weird discovery though:

One of all the bots I wrote down the name of outside the dungeon, was actually today spamming she "wanted to sell gold" in PE, you know what I mean.
(The REALLY sad thing here is that anyone reading this actually 'knows' what I mean....)

I thought the botters wouldn't want to use accts that they were actually using to farm with , to spam with?!
The only ways I see this happening is:

    1. They never get caught - ever - so there is zero risk involved with using the same acct for all crappy tasks.
    2. Leveling a new character in order to farm the level 58-60 instance at the end is so easy (powerlvling away from computer) that if they get caught the process of creating a new character or account is very easy, even up to high levels.
    3. Soo many players actually buy their HAMSTER that it's well worth it for them the time and effort to sacrifice accounts left and right in order to spam their advertising.

I don't demand anything from PWE, but it would be a very good thing if they actually not only took this matter seriously, but also did something about it and adressed it officially to the public.
Brand-wise I think that would be the smartest thing PWE could do for the longivety of this game.

Sorry for any spelling- or other errors in this text. English isn't my primary language, so I'm just doing my best to make this coherent.

    PWE- Anything?
