Neverwinter having awesome graphic and combat compare to a lot of other MMORPGs out there. It is just a waste if they don't improve those PVP system to attract more players.
My current feeling is - I grind for most of those top gear, top enchantment just to make my character looks nicer?
Maybe there are alot PVE players did that, but i don't. As a regular MMORPG player, i just want fame.

Neverwinter is severely lacking in both areas. No ranked or guild PvP and no raids.
If you dont like it, go play WoW or GW2 or Tera or ESO or FF, I think most the people here wount miss you.
/sarcasm off/
The game is lacking everything, the prizes are huge, too many broken things that needs desperate fixing. Not enough variety of items for endgame, not enough PVE contend to get it from, PVP is worthless. The current system needs to be reworked entirely if you want a ranking and more challangeable raids/guild wars. What we have right now is actually nothing.

We have a pretty fun time killer until wildstar.
This game is designed to make as much money as possible on a day to day basis. It is not designed to be a great long term game.

I want competitive PvE. The various zone contests are baby steps in the right direction, but I want to see more. What about something similar to the old Japanese game show, Takeshi's Castle, where a large group of people try to breach a castle's defenses, but if you fall, you become a spectator or perhaps you respawn outside the quest area so you can't feed information to the remaining players? The players who survive till the end and take out the boss get a prize. Eliminated players can get AD from Rhix as a consolation prize.
Or what about something more recent, like Ninja Warrior. It would be like May's Trickjumping on steroids. The person who makes it to the top of Mt. Midoriyama gets phat lewt, while the others get maybe XP or AD or runes for participation. Maybe even a title for the champion?
Or maybe something like the Crystal Maze, that old game show? Or something like Mario Kart which is racing plus monsters and obstacles. There would be three tiers of racing, for different mount tiers. Or something like soccer, where players push a physics object towards the enemy goal, but PvP is enabled. Be creative, Cryptic!
PvP was started because of the alpha personalities that think they have to prove they are the best at building their characters and think that proving it means they can beat up everyone else...this mindset forgets that the object isn't to beat other players, but to advance and progress your character. If you want to beat other players there are games made especialy for that out there...why aren't you playing them? Because they get really boring and agrivating and people stop playing them when there are a small core group that dominates everything. This needs to be avoided.
PvP has it's place and NW has the best system I have come across in a long time. Team battles instead of 1-on-1 ego trip battles. All players are advanced to the top level so its more fair to all instead of matching lower level players against higher ones that are sure to KYA. There is still inequality with the skill sets but it is negligable. I wouldn't mind seeing a PvP oriented gear set like the costume set, useable only in PvP and rewarded by success in PvP, purchasable with the points awarded like the PvP potions. It could be slot customizable for variation. I do hope they expand the arena map options as well, it does get monotoneous with only 2 random maps.

I have to agree here, There needs to be more depth to the game.

Taking a break from Neverwinter indefinitely...
