Greetings All,
I'm currently hitting level 42 with my Control Wizard and I've only been playing Neverwinter for a bit more than a week so I'm now trying to start to figure out what I want to do at level 60.
I'm trying to learn how to setup my Wizard to get the most out of her cold skills but I'll most likely need to respec my powers and feat points to make sure everything that I use belongs with a cold build.
I was hoping to get some kind of a outline on what the ideal Cold Control Wizard build should look like.
I was hoping to use Chilling Cloud and Icy Ray has my left and right mouse attacks but I think that Magic Missile might be better than Chilling Cloud.
Any advice is greatly welcome

The best advice that I can provide is to choose what feels comfortable for you.

Fixed.
There can be holywar, but in PvP spec doesn't affect anything. I'm running in thau spec, someone runs in rene, you run opp, and we all effective. Oppressor rely on chill, thau rely on damage, rene rely on whatever rules random.
"With the force of Wind and Ice , I shall rise..."
This has nothing to do with the thread.
It literally seems that you MUST spec on full dps because a control wizard cannot spec as full control because.... no.
Haven't found a valid reason yet, i'm hoping to see the light someday.
I want this class in NW.
There are very few players who act that way tbh... but they are quite loud about it.
If the OP really likes frost encounters then I would suggest trying Oppressor. Perhaps copy a character to the test server and try some builds.
