as the thread title implies unstoppable is still cutting short and appears to dismiss once your temp HP is gone. i used it earlier and had a full determination bar activated unstoppable and within seconds it disappeared i still had about a quarter of determination left i have also noticed that it stops short with a sliver of determination still left.
what happened to the dev teams response apparently they did not fix the bug that they said they new about. and considering there was a slight hotfix today with issues (see patch notes apparently getting the high elf was more important than fixing things). im beginning to think this major issue along with the roar AP gain is going unheeded.:eek:
id love to see the fix reveresed altogether but heres a quote "this is why we don't have nice things"
Yea. Unstoppable is bugged. Duration is cut in half usually, sometimes it just disappears immediately - it does seem to stop when my bonus HP is lost.
This is a ****ing joke. GWF's are literally the laughing stock of the game right now. I can't believe this. I am really really upset. It isn't worth playing GWF at the moment. This is my only character and I have spent a lot of time and money on it.
It is bugged and disappears when your temporary hitpoints run out, which can be pretty quickly. That explains why you say it disappears immediately for you. No one is laughing, we all know it's a bug.
just tested out the duration with a full bar of determination in trade of blades currently if no one is attacking you or your temp hp isnt gone it takes 6.5 seconds for unstoppable to run it's course i could have sworn it was 8 sec before i didnt see anything in the patch notes about the duration of unstoppable being cut down.
quitting gwf til they fix this, its ffn useless, having no dodge was fine when u had unstoppable and could afford not to give a s.., but now im in a boss fight dead cause its hard to get used to not having anything on tab

didnt want to rage, but playing bugged class in a bugged dungeon gets on your nerves
unstoppable was fine before it should never have been nerfed it wasnt the problem the problem was in feat selection and gear that people had stacking deflect regen and defense which made sent build op not unstoppable. truth be told it prolly was just a way around having to go in and rework all the other stuff instead just lower unstoppable it gives the illusion everything is fixed
it's a shame really i switched from DC to GWF and was having a blast playing it and i wasnt even sent spec i went destroyer but now with the nerf i might as well play my DC since GWF are now about as squishy of a class. ive been playing around in pvp and i get blown up in a few seconds even with unstoppable now. before i could at least put up a fight i also noticed unstoppable not stopping some control effects i got frozen in unstoppable and one TR skill worked while unstoppable was on i think it was dazing something.
On the subject of it being buggy, anyone else notice that sometimes minion type mobs will get confused for a few seconds when you pop it? They occasionally react the same way to my Unstoppable GWF as they do my Stealthed TR; purple question mark overhead, standing around for a second or two. Normally they come at me again, but once or twice I saw mobs I had aggro on chase after my cleric companion until Unstoppable ran out.
And yeah, the control immunity thing needs a far better explanation. Sometimes I'm immune to knockback, sometimes not, same for frozen prone and dazed. It's almost always a boss monster that seems to not care I'm supposed to be immune, but sometimes it's just an elite mob out in the field. If that's intended they ought to mention something about "doesn't always work on tough enemies".

its supposed to be the other way around, we are supposed to lose HP when unstoppable ends, not losing Unstoppable when Temp HP ends, even if i still have half bar of Determination left on it..
