Linked Spirit with Astral Shield - Does it work?

Has anyone tested Linked Spirit with the change to Astral Shield?

    Also for me not working with AS, and sometimes - not ever - SB proc LS, using trick TAB

    Yep it does, even in solo play. Now my daunting light can reliably crit for almost 20k and i don't have any armor pen or vorpal yet. It's going to be awesome in pvp, one shot by the cleric! :eek:

    It doesn't proc off AS.

    Astral Shield does not Heal, it Regenerates.

    They changed that, I'm pretty sure. Same patch as the uptime nerf/fix: "healing changed from regen to HoT".

    I cannot get AShield to proc LS in Trading Blades.

    Well now mine is always up, i have never used the sunburst exploit (i don't even know how to do that), and it's up when i drop AS. If you have another idea let me know, but i'm quite sure it is AS. The only other possibility i see is rising hope proccing several times, because there's no way i get over 7.5k power without having LS proccing from AS.

    Here is a screenshot: i am using AS first with the full party in the circle, power gets buffed to 9k or so, then make rising hope proc, and my power gets over 10k.

    I have done a test in the skirmish, yes, AS DOES proc LS when you use it where your team stands. It doesn't last long though, but it definitely works. So idk what you've been doing with yours, mine is great now.

    Lemme be more clear, there are 2 stacks of LS in your screenshot wich means that there's at least another DC out of your party givin you the LS buff.

    Moreover, is well known that SB it's still the best way to trick LS and you got a SB in cooldown.

    BTW. I've tested and also BoH can trick LS with the same mechanic as SB does (but unfortunatly you can't stack more than 1 LS buff per DC) wich makes me reconsider the usefulness of BoH now that it has a reduced cooldown.

    It's not proccing off AS for me either. Are you sure you're not accidentally using the sb proc by casting astral shield directly after using sunburst?

    Yeah the Linked Spirit trick with Sunburst seems fixed. It was too overpowered.

    Yes i'm using divine advantage too.

    And yes i made the 10k power screenshot after making rising hope proc because i thought it was funnier, but i should have sticked to AS only. Yes i made extensive tests yesterday, using AS only (no SB, no HW, no Astral seal, nothing but AS), and yes it procs.

    I noticed something else, if a party member (it may be you) didn't take any damage, then LS doesn't proc from AS.

    On a side note, AS doesn't proc rising hope, that's a bit disappointing.

    Well I bit the bullet and logged in again, and ...still seems to work for me. Can happily proc LS from tab-switching at about the same success rate I was getting before (tested in a dungeon and just "by the AH in PE" where astral seal procs or other weirdness won't be going on).

    HOLY HAMSTER does the AP gain nerf hurt, though. Man.

    Ok so i am unable to reproduce the 10k power today. That's a bit weird. I'm still seeing absurd damage numbers with daunting light, like 20 or 25k crits without a vorpal and without using the bugged sun burst, but after dropping astral shield, so my guess is that it doesn't display the buff for some people but it is here.

    I also think it's completely bugged, I have 5.6k power with my augment pet, i shouldn't be able to reach 10k power with rising hope and linked spirit at the same time. I don't know how i got this power buff but there's definitely something wrong. Even if it's in our favour, i hope someone will help me to find it out and report it. :)
