Why is Internet Explorer launching when I click on the NW button to log in?

I don't use IE. And every time it launches it wants to install all its stupid ad helpers, which is the reason I dont use it. So with the new patch, when I click on the NW button to open the launcher, IE opens up and I can't get the launcher to even load. I have a white screen box. Any suggestions?

    Same thing happenign to me. It happened right after I purchased some ZEN for character slots, and then I tried to buy some, and I got kicked out of the game. Then when I tried to purchase it again(because it hadn't gone through) it said a previous transaction was in progress and it wouldn't let me do anything. And then when I went out of the game and tried to log back in, OP's problem hit me.

    Im also having this exact same problem is there any word on a fix?

    Same here, this has just started happening to me..

    Played post patch for a few hours like normal, closed an then come back to load up an get this:/

    Same problem here, but i get HTTP 500 error, i ran the game out of the exe and its at least letting me use the launcher, checking game files atm.

    So still no word from Devs what a **** launch of a new product exploiters get no punishment instead are rewarded with a mount people who paid for the pack arent getting the included items promised and now i cant even log into the game this is pathetic get your act together and give us some information about the problem.
