Hello there!
I decided to level a character to 60 and to equip him properly.
I currently have 10k GS but that is only with the money I managed to get leveling up and selling stuff.
I would like to further equip my character but without entering a guild (I'm more of a solo kind) and would like to ask You all what I can solo for some good gear. If necessary I can bring a friend with me, but I don;t really enjoy the multiplayer aspect that much.
Also please don;t bash me for my playing style and choices. Everybody does things differently!

I doubt you can solo any of the epic dungeons and there is where you can find good gear, the other casual dungeons don't give any good level 60 gear.

No bashing here I play the exact same play style. The bad: at this time you can solo most of the foundry but you'll only get green gear, spell up potions, ID scrolls, random green gear and occasionally profession resources (they drop from the mobs). The good: Thursdays update introduces some repeatable solo content and on the test server I was getting the rare blue gear from the more challenging random mob kills.
Sorry, man, but you're not going to find any LVL 60 Purples Solo. I'm in the same boat (my attempts at PUG's in this game have ranged from abominable to absolutely Hellish) and have had to purchase the few Purples that I do have from the Auction House. Frankly, I haven't seen the need to buy many, usually its when I find that my LVL 60 still has a few gear pieces in the 40 range and the Purples are roughly the same price as Blues, but with the chance to Upgrade them yourself through Crafting. Otherwise, the gear you find is good enough for Solo play without the A.H. (unless you are like me and sometimes have a toon that JUST DOES NOT GET DROPS and just HAVE to by A.H. gear every 10 levels, because otherwise you would virtually never have the chance to upgrade their gear.).

UGH! I feel for you, OP, and no judging here at all. I prefer to play alone or with only one other when I'm feeling social.
Unfortunately, this game and other MMORPGs aren't mostly geared towards that type of play style. This game does offer some choices though, like others have stated, and like they've stated, not many. The main currency makers seem to all be geared towards playing with others. The foundry is good for solo-ing, but as stated, aren't where you'll find the good things. PuGing with the dungeons can be absolutely horrid. Most times, actually.
The good news is that I've inadvertently met a lot of very good people who have made grouping less of a pain. Of course, you'll also come across a lot of ***holes.
Some things also depend on the class you're playing. It's harder to find groups when you're a certain class these days.
Yeah, now. And, now less than before. And, later it will be harder. Advising someone to prepare is, I would think, a good thing.

For me, the game ends at level 60 and it took far too short a time to there. Small maps which are congested with baddies. Because of that too few quests each of which gives far too much experience so levelling is trivial. No worthwhile goals as a solo player at level 60 and of course we have the money-grabbing attitude of the game producers.
Sad really - it could have been good. It needs a new engine which can handle realistic sizes of map. It needs a slow but steady progression through levels not this superficial stuff and levelling at the speed of light. All my guildies have left the game for these reasons.
I didn't notice where the OP said what class they were running, but you can run a lot of the regular dungeons with a 10K GS. However, you won't get any upgrades unless you are doing the latter half of the epics. I ran regular Pirate King with a 7.5K GS on my GWF. It was very slow solo, but I was able to do it...again, this is only dropping like mid 40 blues, but you can usually sell them.
Foundry - Fight Club? (nw-dluqbofu7)

QFT, my Rogue is 60 now and other than to do epic, what else is there that is not boring?
I complain a lot on the forums about how the new content cost money for progression. I would shut my mouth if ALL of the items in the new content were able to be attained solo. I do not think you can get the tokens for the new armor unless you run the 5 man dungeon. It would be a welcome change if they added a way you could get the tokens on your own. It would obviously take longer than running the 5 man dungeon and it would give the solo players something work towards that would keep them busy for a long time. The armor is not BIS but a solo player doesn't necessarily need BIS.
I solo a lot of the dungeons for story. There are some good stories. Of course there are terrible stories as well. I try and find the siege type dungeons to solo. I also do the pvp and the epic dungeons. I try and get sets of epic armor, get all the different followers-- currently have armored wolf, skeleton dog, jagged dancing blade, etc., try and get epic gear.

What to do at level 60?
Well, if you are the obsessive-compulsive type, you can set yourself a goal like getting all the available titles, getting all the achievement points, or simply improve your equipment - get level 10 enchants, perfect enhancements and so on.
If you are not a DC, you can probably find quite a few foundry quests that you can enjoy.
Alternatively, get into the foundry yourself, and start making your own stuff.
Outside of Feywild solo-content (that I haven't done, so I won't pretend to have an opinion other then technically there's some stuff there), I'd have to second (or whatever nomination we're at) the Foundry as a pretty good thing you can do. There's things from story-driven maps, to puzzles, to 'challenge' maps, that people have come up with and created.
Whether that's of any interest without significant rewards for doing so is another matter altogether and depends entirely on what you want out of the experience, however.
Foundry daily, PvP daily (even if you don't participate b/c your solo oriented... your team will be happy to leave and you can chill at the bonfire lol)
You'll get decent gold in foundries which you can turn around and buy things to trade for AD. If you want to make AD faster unlock character slots. 6 characters = that many more leadership professions going at once generating passive AD and that means either 6 chances per week at a coalescent or you can sell 6 boxes a week for 30-35k AD each. That only requires that they be level 11.

I'm mostly a solo'er as well, and let me tell you, it's going to SUCK when they make all the best gear bind on pickup. They really need to make a way for people to earn good gear without being forced into a 5 man teams where you get yelled at if you don't do things exactly the way they feel you should.
You should be able to solo some Dungeon Delve Events like Clock Tower and Cragmire Crypt and maybe even the Lair of the Mad Dragon. Note: I was able the first two around Level 50 & 55.
Having betaed the new Expansion there is some Purple Gear you can get there (even a free Fey Key per day) and you get a Purple Cloak right at the beginning if I remember correctly.
I'm a solo'er as well. I would really like to solo some of the epic dungeons without having to have a group stay back. Curious why this isn't an option?

Ah! Very true. But, save up your AD for it. Gold as well.
Well, it is easy to make gold or AD in the game.
