Ever since the most recent update (2.2+GB one) the game patches CONSTANTLY. When it was first released, it patched about 90%+ then moved on (allowing me to select 'Play' and begin to do so). Now, every time I start the game and every time I exit the game, the launcher patches 200+K. It does this before I can click Play, and when I exit the game it does this as well before fully closing (launcher window opens and everything). I assume this means the patch isn't fully patched, but when is it going to stop? Is there something I should check to make sure the patch goes through fully? Something I can delete so the whole process starts all over again and completes successfully? Is it running into some kind of conflict I can find out what it is?
Thoughts? Ideas? It doesn't seem to stop me from playing, but clearly something isn't working correctly.
When at the character selection screen, it says I'm on version NW.3.20130723a.16

I have the same issue and now my ,"left press" on my mouse doesn't work for at will powers. The game is now unplayable. I submitted a ticket yesterday and still have gotten no response or acknowledgement of the issue. I have stopped playing this game and have lost all faith in this company.
I have exactly the same issue, since one week. But the game works fine. It gives me the impression that the patching fails and it tries again and again...
The first time it happened, I thought was my problem, because my PC went to the sleep mode at 90% because of my power management settings, so I still have the doubt that this issue has been provoked somehow by me the first time and now the patching system cannot recover the failed patch.
It would be good to know if you had exactly the same issue or you can guarantee that your PC didn't went to the sleep or freeze mode during the update.
I also have this exact same issue. I would agree that it seems the patching failed. My patcher just disappears after 1800kb and does nothing. I can still play, but once the new module rolls out that will probably be a different story.
I have this issue as well, and so do a whole lot of folks that posted in the Launcher Bug thread. Looks like there was a problem with the last patch. It isn't able to fully patch and just keeps trying every time ya log in and out.
As of now, it is not affecting game play for me, but I worry that that will change with that new area added. My thought is that this broken patch has something to do with the new area, and it's not gonna be pretty in a few days.

Well, for quite a few days (seems to me, that since pre-patch of the new version has began) I have the same problem - Launcher patching for like 2-5 minutes almost every time I want restarted the game.
Not being able to find an option to disable the pre-patch, I have decided to disable the "patch on-demand" option in setup and load the whole stuff.
The NW revenge is terrible. It decided that it needs to patch over 1.9 GB... and seems that most of it in uncompressed files to be downloaded. After 5 hours I'm close to 50% done. Grrrrrrrrrrr...., but maybe, when done, it will stop this odd patching behavior.
whenever i exit game. The launcher pops up to a 2Gb patch. After letting this run three times and losing 7Gb of space on my pc. Im a lil aggrivated. Was wondering when this will be fixed. Or, if there maybe something i can do to fix it myself!
Launcher keeps trying to Patch and will not let me in to play... Need Help says can not connect to launcher patch server

Ive had a similar problem where it would say theres a 2gb patch or so but then it would patch just a bit then allow me to play however sometimes when I close the game a new window pops up trying to patch even though I can still play fine
Same here, annoying 2gb patch every time i exit the game. I just close the annoying patcher now. Now a new problem has arisen, i cant even get the patcher window to show on screen, its just a window tab on my taskbar with nothing i can do with it except close. Cant pop the window up to actualy log in or anything.
Baelzeden: It's meant to patch and repatch everytime ya log in or out? Is there a reason for it being meant to do this craziness? The patching never gets past 10% in either case, why would it keep repatching the same files over and over?

But for now, closing the launcher when it pops up to patch, seems to fix it.
