Well as title name is Slam this is about the Daily Slam.

Here's a picture I took of slam on Preview and on Live, if you can't figure out which Slam is the Preview 1 maybe you need glasses.

Look at the Damage on the new Slam. 2.7k-3.2k vs the old Slam 759-889. Am I missing something what is SO bad about Slam being changed?

    759-889 is per tick, and slam at max rank has 12 sec, thus - animation you get 11 ticks, thus 11*avg(759&889) >> avg(2744&3267); hence the 68% nerf (new slam has 10 secs only).

    Hm... so it will do all of the damage in a single hit rather than over the duration now?

    No...did you guys(except cheapjing who's got it right) even read the patch notes? It still does damage per tick(just 60% less) and lasts two seconds less. They also state that it now displays the amount of damage it deals over its entire duration, instead of its tick damage.

    If the old Slam(with its damage intact) was displayed in this way, it would have shown as ~9k-10k(vs the new ~3k). Does that sound bad enough?

    It's a smoke screen to make players "think" its better that is all.

    But with how the GWF performs and how the class struggles so hard to be a part of PVE in this game, players will not change there views on GWF at all.

    Got cha, and no I didn't look at the Slam patch I only happened to look it up on Preview because so many people were whining about it, I don't use it anymore so it won't affect me. Thanks for clearing that up.

    They changed it to be a utility/threat generator.

    Playing the Instigator spec the last thing I want is threat.

    They want this on the Sentinel spec since that is our tanking role.

    This ****'s so busted I can't even go on man. So sick of Sents in PvP. I know how to get around them but 1v1 isn't even worth it anymore. It's just annoying. They don't know what they're doing with any of these ******* classes. "Fix" this equals ruin this in most cases. Dreaded this patch, minus the CC thing with Crescendo and the Avatar upgrade.
