Launcher patches

When I exit the game, the launcher opens up and starts patching 2Gb+. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't really do this. Happened several times in a row for me.

One time I let it patch the whole thing, but next time it started over from scratch again.

    So its not just me. Does it whenever I close the game.

    I get a patch almost every time I open it and almost every time I close it for the last couple days.

    It must be like 12 gigs so far, what is it patching?

    Did they catch Marvel-Heroes-itis?

    i got the same issue with the launcher opening on game exit and trying to patch 2 gigs worth. for now i just close the launcher before it can fully load and start the patch process.

    Been doing this to me too -- patched a bit upon start-up the first time, but now it reopens when I exit and patches again. If I cancel it and restart the launcher, it doesn't want to patch anymore. I don't know what the deal is, but I left to do other stuff earlier and let it finish the whole patch, so hopefully it hasn't broken itself by doing that....

    My issue is that my launcher starts the patch, gets to about 8% then says "complete". It does the same thing when I exit the game. The patch doesn't ever complete.

    Same thing here, I thought my game file corrupted, but the game plays fine, the patch never complete, just skip to PLAY button, nothing wrong in the game, logout exit the game will auto launch the launcher again and patch which never complete

    I think mine completed. It got up to 74%, I stopped paying attention, and it was done when I looked again. Nothing seems to have gone wrong in the game so I don't know what it did.
