So I have both a complaint and an encouragement,
I have sat in queue for the entire zone today, waiting excessively lengthy times to sort my bags obsessively, or buy potions just in hopes of fulfilling the daily requirement. I am currently level 46, and waiting for the pirate dungeon at the end of the skyhold quests. Patiently, well as patiently as I can, sitting doing nothing is not my style - if I was playing WoW i generally fish or something which generates no xp but still uses my time.
So, I leveled past several skirmishes, without being able to do them at all. Annoying but not world ending, the only things really suffering is that I don't know what they are like.
My husband has gone past at least one dungeon. Now that is annoying, i have had several where there is only the likelihood of ONE run through. That means there is no remote hope that i will have any useful gear from the run. That's fine, quest gear is okay, and there are drops which are also okay in questing. However if you miss dungeons short of actually being in an active guild, which I am not at all sure we all are, and getting a group of people together and running; there is very little opportunity to see the content.
Right now I am just leveling through questing, not through anything else. No training bonuses or leveling bonuses, I avoid doing foundry for example during the events because I level past all these things too fast.
So i guess my complaint is, how can we get all this stuff done that is seemingly recommended for the daily quests from Rhix (and I like that idea of doing dailies, I think its a great encouragement for people to run.) If just doing the quests for the zone level you past the dungeon which you get a quest for at the end of a zone?
Also, to the players, please queue, it helps everyone when you do. When you do queue don't expect perfection, or to down the boss, talk to people, come up with a strategy, don't just try once die and quit. Death in this game is one wound pack away from being fixed, it isnt RoM where you get a debt, the penalty is an injury or a simple pack to fix it. A few silver. A little patience all go a long way to helping people have fun. The game has only been out a few months in reality, not all of us were involved in Beta testing; and many people have never touched an MMO let alone know what a tanks role is or a healers role. Not to mention the game is very different to any other MMO I have played. So queue up when you are leveling; give people a break; be nice, talk, greet one another.. build some kind of community because it is highly likely you will run with the same people at least a few times.
That's my encouragement
be nice, be patient and people will treat you the same.
Don't assume your way is the only way; and try and communicate rather than yelling at someone for doing something apparently wrong; take the time to be generous with your compliments rather than your insults.
Anyhow, I don't know what to do about the XP, there is more to a game than the end and I don't have a way to throw on the breaks here, (turn xp off for example) which is my usual recourse in games like WoW; I want to see the content as I go. I am completely new to the DnD universe, I want to know the story; I want to learn lore... so I want to see the content.
Thanks for reading ... and letting me rant.

It was not meant as everyone is being rude, but that in normal game play I cant seem to level slow enough. It annoys me. I want to see more of the game not less. My only guess is that people are not queuing... or however that is spelt.. while they are questing.

I really suppose I could ask in zone if I dont get a group before I level tomorrow (its 4am im about to sleep) we will see.
Meanwhile, here is hoping they do not decrease xp required, because this is just on my first character, and unless I make a point to do so, it is going to be annoying in the long run if I have to keep going back to zones to get the dungeons.
Thanks for replying
