Foundry Questions

Question #1: Has something gone wrong with the NPC/encounter following? My NPCs were following perfectly fine until I added in a new map which caused them to stop following my character. I've only tested this in the editor, so I don't know if it shows up in the published version.

Question #2: Is there a way to remove the armor/accessories that come with a prebuilt NPC? For example, say I want to remove the NPC's helmet/necklace/belt so that the NPC not wearing them. I don't want to replace it with another type of armor, I just want it gone from the NPC entirely.

NPCs will not follow you through map transitions or through teleporters.
However pathing for in the foundry is messed up and results are often different in the live version

No there is no way to make those adjustments to a pre-made NPC. However on certain NPCs you can change their armor set and some armor sets will remove certain things like a helmet on a pre-made NPC.

I didn't define my NPC/encounter problem correctly. Sorry. My NPCs are not intended to follow me through a map transition - my issue is that they now fail to follow me entirely. It could be an autopathing issue, but I tested it before I added the new map, and they followed me perfectly fine. Thank you though, moonchipz.

Ok, just verify the following settings for the specific NPC:

    Appear When: Immediately
    Disappear When: Never
    Behavior: Follow
    Follow When: Immediately
    Following Speed: 15
    Stop Following When: Never

Then ensure there are no invisible walls or decorations the NPC can get stuck on.
Then check the NPCs spawn location is valid
Verify your objectives are set properly

If all of those checks pass, publish to live and see if its broken in the live version also.

Why creating a map would cause this problem, I have no idea. Never seen it happen before.

I am having this same issue. I've set the NPC to follow always, appear immediately, disappear never, following speed 5. But they just stand there, not moving, in a completely open space with no barriers. This is in the published quest. There are different NPCs set to follow, freshly placed and parameters set (not duplicated).

Is anyone else having this issue?

Edit: The issue occurred because I hadn't dropped the quest and picked it up fresh after re-publishing.
