Quick Question for Long Time Players

Started playing this game Day 1 - got a GWF and Rogue to 60 Both around 11k GS whenever I quit...Rogue a bit higher then GWF.

Without really wanting to spam read these forums and figure out timelines patch notes etc, wanted to know if it was worth coming back to this game?

What is "new"? (From right after "the big ****up with duping")

What has been "fixed?" - (epic dungeon glitching - insane difficulty on certain dungeons without using said glitches etc etc)

Double Cleric fixed?

How OP are rogues still - completely unbias please....

Serious questions!

I loved the gameplay / graphics / overall feel of Neverwinter minus all of the obvious problems....

Well from the date you say u left i can say there were a lot of changes, at least in class atributes.. Double cleric fixed, they can barely survive survive now. People say its worst class to play, even tho the demand on DC's to dungeons is still very high (the highest i think).

Rogue had severel nerfs, LB dont hurt that much now, and some feats were changed. Devs roled some back in last pacth, crit a bit higher again. 100% Stealth builds are on the rocks, all people love them and all people hate them, Devs made at-will bring you out of stealth after tons of wining but they reconsidered it on the last patch. A good rogue is still a killing machine.

GF's are still most complete class, def, crit, they have it all.

From what people say CW's still broken... i see some of them still owning tho.

And.. GWF's... are the new "nerf them please" class... Determination and Untouchable are the most hated skills on this game atm... a GWF (Sentinel Build) can play agaisnt 4/5 enemies.. making them quit after they see they cant take him down.

I recomend you to wait and see whats coming on the 22th August module 1 patch.. major changes coming they say.

You say you have a TR and a GWF (same as me), so you can still have fun in this game... but not that much new things to do right now :/

    He nailed it

Just adding Dungeons bosses have lesss hp but they are still difficult to complete, Devs are working to solv most of the glitch spaces in the dungeons however there are still the so called fast runs just to kill the last boss
Everything works out in the end . If it hasn't worked out yet, it isn't the end...

Lots of changes and lots left to do. Apparently knocking mobs off ledges is approved, not an exploit, and that continues making the CW the key to groups. Bypassing mobs to get boss kills is being fixed, not all the holes are filled but many were. Also if you kite bosses too far they reset now (a major pain in some solo content). They added a raid which is 1/2 pvp and 1/2 pve and requires a guild to enter. There is a new zone coming soon. Gear is or soon will be (not sure) BOP so buying the top tier items will slowly fade away.

Rogues have been nerfed constantly and more on the way. They made the big daily execution do far less damage. They are looking to nerf lurker's assault and the thrown weapon attack heavily. Rogues discovered a stay-in-stealth build that makes many people cry even though it is a weak build in many ways. They are looking to nerf that as well, or at least make it harder to manage (this is probably the basis of the nerf to the ranged attack).

Generally rogues are not OP. They have lost dps and survivability constantly and gained nothing, and with many more nerfs they will likely become useless in pve entirely --- the goal seems to be to make them a low damage, low survival single target wimp. Once the permastealth is nerfed, they will likely be fine in pvp. If they nerf lurker's they will be sub-par in pve and if they go beyond these plans they will be about worthless for anything.
