transmutation and enchantment visual effect

I transmuted my weapon with greater plague fire enchantment on it, and now the enchantment visual effect is gone. Is this working as intended or it's a bug ?

What is the weapon model?

If it's a GWF Reaver Blade, then that's your problem. That weapon will not show weapon enchantments.

Yea certain weapon models won't display special FX correctly.

But yea other then un equipping and re equipping it, it should work fine on most models.
