Northern Justice NW-DJBL7N5V9
This is part three of my Tyr inspired "And Justice for All." campaign. Features Companion: A fully fleshed out partner in the event. Will bring back memories of old dnd companions in games like Baldur's gate. Side Quests: Yep a mess load and each can help change the end of the event.....sort of. Unique Monster Manual Mobs: Fight the likes of Hill Giants, Dragonborn, and the most deadly of all fourth edition monsters GNOMES! Choices: More then one way to skin a cat my grand daddy used to tell me! Well more then one way to adventure I say as well. Romance: Of the quick one night stand type! Old School Magic Items Older players will recognize many of the items in the Module used to advance the plot! Laughs: This is set up very much like a table top campaign. The PC will be the hero, it will have a serious story line but scattered through out will be some good old Geek Humor.
I am looking for either single review trades of the module listed above, or campaign for campaign. The story stands well alone but is part of a project of mine to make sure Tyr will be included back in the 5th edition of dnd. Heck everytime your in Protectors Enclave you see his appearance on the gold dome of the Hall of Justice.
Thanks will play your family secrets right now ady.
Family Secrets Review Maps Very nice map building skills. All of them are well done, look like the places your describing. Maybe on the map of Hell change the sky a touch, unless that's what your going for with the Dark Ladies trick. Story Good story with the girl and her special powers. I am not the person to go through the grammar line by line but there are a few mistakes that make it read a little funny in a few places. That's the only area I see as needing any cleaning up. NPC's Solid group of characters make up your world. Your brothel certainly serves wide range of tastes. Combat Tough. I liked the challenge and how it became more difficult as the module progressed. Really nice end fight and trick with the devils.
This feels like playing Skyrim :P It is not the snow but the variety of characters and the different approaches towards the objectives. The characters are my favorite aspect, with fleshed out personalities visually and in interactions with them. I couldn’t cope with the side quests, found them confusing, I only found the guys on the lake.
Issues I noticed are floating rocks and frosted trees sticking up in green grass. I can’t comment on grammar and spelling, my English is terrible ;P
I'll trade you a review. My quest is in my signature.
EDIT: Played and reviewed it!
Very nice quest! Had everything, lore, good dialogues, well paced combat, variations etc...
Best quest I've played today! Keep at it.
Assassination ContractNW-DOD6JMS5H - story + combat. Trading reviews.
I'm improving my quest on an almost daily basis - so if you come back to it after a week or so, it won't be quite the same!
Review Story: Awesome, leaves you wanting more. Players of the Torment plane scape will clearly recognize the references. I hate the being evil part in the beginning and killing people shouting by Torm, but in the end you start to fall into your role and that's the sign of a great story.
Combat Fight where you open the door and the guards coming pouring in to kick your butt, solid. I choose the harder option and walked out with about 10 level 4 enchants.
Maps Nice lay out. Really good use of special effects to make different fights slightly more challenging. Really nice work on Neverembers statue to make it fit in a room.
NPC's Yep winner winner chicken dinner. Great NPC's. The skull conversation was just right.
Overview: the longer the foundry has been out the better the community has gotten at using all the tools, and creating quests that make the developers quest lines seem boring in compare. This is a top of the line quest that deserves a Featuring at some point. Many players will not get the references and may get slightly annoyed at not being instantly gratified to know the whole story. I think they will play the next one however.
I completed and reviewed your quest few minutes ago.
Story telling at the campfire reminds me of dragon age and i liked it, felt bad for beatrice. The tournament has an epic feeling that i loved, being able to choose how to finish this was a great idea, since i didnt wanted to kill them all, cmon they were just desperate for food! do we have to kill them all?
Thanks for letting me choose, i'd recommend to add more props to the first 2 outdoor maps, since they look a little bit empty.
Overall: Tipped and hope to see more!
PS: You can try mine, heres a short code NW-DTNQ57N4B
Check out my campaign "A time of need" NWS-DK9TIAT7J! I'm still seeking and trading reviews, feel free to send me a message with your foundry code and I will play them as soon as possible.
Part One: Combat: This will be challenging of many charcaters I have a level 30 healer pet and a 10k+ gear score and I was drinking pots left and right. I loved the challenge other players may see it as overly difficult. Story: I like the merc angle but add in one for the more heroic type of PC as well if you can. Good story though, nice rescue and protection of town missions. NPC's: I really enjoyed you Orc companion, as we talked in game I would like to see a little more of her through out the course of our exploration. Map A very nice 2 map quest. Keeps load to a minimum and makes sense the way you move through the environment.
Overall a nice story driven heavy combat modules. Has a very night of the living dead feel.
