me too, it's Savage Axe, any TR found something else? @jstallard, you can transmute, just click change appearance, then drag the axe to the empty slot.
Not sure if I understand how to transmute, but when I think I do it, it shows nothing in my toon's hands (using savage axe of many arrows). Plus it costs over 60000 ad LOL. What a sick joke.
Was clearly part of an economy suck. I actually paid 60K AD for the transmute after throwing out the similar fool's crown, though, so the devs were smarter than me this time.
Weird though -- you can still get T1 stuff on AH for virtually nothing despite all the inflationary steps the devs have taken.
Any economists out there like to explain?
any TR get anything other than the axe?
I know GF has an axe too, but the teaser picture also shows a wooden shield, so I don't know if we get 2 items per class or 1
hmm so the cost to transmute is based on the item being transmuted or the savage axe? the axe is level 1. Anyway, yes if it costs AD to use the axe it is a bit nuts, or laziness on the devs part.
Its a bit ridiculous, we are destroying an item, why should we have to pay AD to do so, come on devs!! Get with the times! Let us transmute freely, and then pay for dyes.
Nobody its forcing you to transmute if you don't like the price.
Every piece of gear you wanna change the appearence with another's, its gona cost you a solid 60k AD, always been that way.
I'ts just a way to make your stuff look "prettier"
I've pretty much changed every piece of my gear to look different, its something to do when you get spare AD.

I have found one item so far. Savage Axe of the Many Arrows. However it was Bind on Pickup and I cannot use it to transmute.
How is that possible? you get the savage weapon for your class, so definitely you are able to use it to transmute desired weapon. Unless you mean the lack of AD is the reason.
yep the "skins" arnt even really skins and are basically a AD sink...nice event. On top of that 20 runs now no companion.
Never done a game event where you could waste 8+ hours (15-20 min queue times, 15-20 min run times X20) and not get the main event item. =/ im calling fail

its a pretty cool event. i dont know about you guys but my queue times on dragon are instantaneous and if people dont aggro all the enemies on the screen and just mow down the waves i can get it done in 7-10 minutes (depending on how good the party).
only gotten 1 dog, 2 weps but at leased ive got dye and RAD sitting all over the place from 15 runs
My queue times on Dragon have ranged from 10-40 minutes depending on time of day. Either you're the class that's bottle-necking the queues or your times are inaccurate.
Edit: Seems to be confirmed in another thread, apparently GFs are required by the queue and since there aren't so many they're the bottleneck for the queue system, at least for this event.

It's based on the item being transmuted. A few times that I've wanted to save a dyed good-looking armor model from a character I'm deleting, I've transmuted that armor onto a white lv5 armor from one of the Market vendors - it's only cost a couple hundred AD. (And since it's a white armor, it becomes unbound/non-binding so I can trade it around freely.)

Waaait... does this mean that you can take the appearance of one item, put it on another, and have the changed appearance be put on a third item? For instance, I have three orbs; A, B, and C. I want B to look like A, so I shell out the AD and do it up. Later on I come across orb C, and it's a huge upgrade over B so I want to use it and have it to look like A; if I go to change its appearance, will it copy over the appearance of A or B?
Because if I can just slap the skull skin on every orb I get from now on and not worry about wasting it on something I'll only have for like three levels I'll totally do it.

I would have guessed DCs, but no.
