PvP and PvE Question, Stalwart VS Timeless

After respeccing my GF to a PVP build listed on these forums, I noticed that he recommended Timeless due to burst damage being higher off the hop. The PvP/tanking hybrid I forum I was cross referencing recommended Stalwart. I started off with Stalwart as it was relatively cheap and easy to farm for. Today I finally completed my Timeless.

What I notice is, with timeless, my power goes up by about 2.5k, and my defence goes down 900, and recover goes up 800.

But there seems to be a huge difference in the 4 piece, with timeless fully active, I gain about 7.3% chance to crit. However, with stalwart, while my power starts at 4.4k when fully activated I get to just under 12K power. This means my critical on say frontline surge is just over 10k, but with timeless, my power stays just about under 7K and my crit is about 7.8K

People seem to equate the two sets. I am conqueror, and I am wondering if timeless really is worth keeping, as it seems to lower my over all damage.

Is there something important I am missing?

    I think a more deeper thought about this will help you come with a decision but also there is nothing wrong in asking for advice.
    I am totaly FOR timeless set and im using and i will continue on using it untill they update with a better gear...so far im pretty sure its the best.
    This is what it is.
    -With timeless you get 1350 critical stack and if you are smart and stack some on your offense slots and items you will get just about 25-27% chance which is pretty satisfying. /With my base stack- 1250 and my timeless stack- 1350 i get 2600 critical :) /
    -With timeless you get about 1300 + ring/neck/shield comes to 2000 recovery which drops all your cooldowns with about 2 - 2.5 seconds.Considering you rarely use cleave attacks in pvp your ludge strike is exactly 6 seconds which is enough to keep your timeless stack up.Keep in mind you have 2 more encounters + 1 daily which charges pretty fast also / considering the often use of encounters /

    Now think about what your role in pvp is and how much value there is for a tank with 18 second cooldowns / no value /. Now think about your role if you had a fast cooldown and a decent critical rate delivering scary damage/ high value /.You dont really need all that defense.. i mean i got atm 2800 defence and my dmg reduction is 42.4% considering my 29.000 hp and the SHIFT key i dont really need to think about taking damage rather then delivering it :)

    Lets brake it like this ..with stalwart your an elephant/slow and heavy/ with timeless your a tiger / fast and deadly /

    My advice is .. go for the best, dont try to be original becouse its not working.You might be able to take few more hits before you take the campfire buff and you might be more capable of putting 1 or 2k more dmg but the other GF with the timeless set will always be few more kills ahead becouse of him swiftness and ability to strike more often.

    Put a voral and 3 azures / rank 8 / .. boost some armor penetration ... que for pvp and enjoy your GF striker :)
