I surfed around a bit and couldn't find any solid yes or no answer; however if someone could tell me if purchasing the $59.99 Feywild pack would also give me head start on new race (before 8/22), I'd be much obliged. ;)

The only early access to the Moon Elf is on the test/preview server. You don't get anything on live until 8/22.

Thanks x, doesn't seem uncommon for that sort of thing in games these days. ;)

first of all, don't listen to lostmarbleshere. ive seen a couple ofhis postings and pretty much talks down about the game. yet he is still here.

secondly, the pack does have some good stuff and some bad stuff that you might not care for. the one thing I see that is of great value and will help you get going is the 600k AD. with speed runs and such going on currently, you will be able to afford some decent gear at the appropriate level to keep up with the masses. research your gear before you buy and find a guild that will help you and welcome newcomers and such. personally I was all about getiing the pack but starting to change my mind about it. I would've bought the pack for mostly the AD start but with simple math and favorable timing of the AD exchange, I can have 600k and save around $20. but that 20 does give you a new race and sigh...a unicorn that farts rainbows. your call bro. nothing makes you feel more epic thann charging into a swarm of bloodthirsty orcs with sword in hand, riding a unicorn farting rainbows. smh...but its your money lol.
