Pls don't tell me "do Foundry"...
I do a lot of them, but 1 Foundry Quest can give at most 50 silver pieces, and so, this can't be called a good gold farming way, considering prices of Injury Kit and healing pots... and the worstest thing, that I'm a DC
You can do full clears on the dungeons that will usually give quite a bit of coin, as a DC you will be in high demand for dungeons. Are you selling the loot from your Foundry quests to the vendors? I usually wind up with 1 or 2gp after a short Foundry, more for the longer ones. Being a DC is not the worst thing. Don't buy healing potions or healing kits for Astral Diamonds.
i guess you could make a character on dragon, buy some keys and then sell them for 65g or whatever theyre going for now
i remember i checked my gold total and i had around 30 gold, then i did like 4 runs of epic PK every time DD was on and after a couple of days i had 100 gold while still buying injury kits if i had an idiotic team.

if you're out of gold the best way is to do any t2 dungeon during DD, and use the gold you loot + AD if necessarry to buy pots from AH/shop. Doing foundries just to get gold for kits/pots is a waste of time
The Leadership profession can get you a lot of gold as well. 60SP x3 is currently as much as I can get with some profession assignments.
*sings* "I like Gammera! He's so neat!!! He is full of turtle meat!!!"
"Hah! You are doomed! You're only armed with that pathetic excuse for a musical instrument!!!" *the Savage Beast moments before Lonnehart the Bard used music to soothe him... then beat him to death with his Fat Lute*
Another way is to farm Tier 2 Dungeons (which should be easy as a DC) and sell the drops for AD, Then use this AD to purchase the cheapest green level 60 items for AD and convert it to gold. With half-decent drops you should be able to make more than enough gold to cover your expenses.

Well, Gold is also about to get more useful with the expansion. Pretty much every unlock requires some gold, 5-10g if I am remembering correctly from Mimic, sometimes more. This is done to unlock the areas, dungeons, and upgrades once you have run sufficient daily quests to get the materials that re *also* required for the unlocks. Sharandar is a pretty significant gold sink when you add it all up, and it's going to require a shift in mentality because right now lots of people are not used to maintaining that much gold around given its limited uses.
I would also recommend what everyone else has said -- run content, sell drops for gold. The leadership is good for incremental gold, as well, but only at the very high levels. Before then you should level it using the most leadership XP granting tasks available -- that gets you to the good stuff quicker, rather than doing lower level tasks that have some reward but small in the grand scheme and give less leadership XP.

Indeed. Specifically, 3x War Games Training and 3x Patrol the Mines (both available at lvl 13, if I remember correctly). Do not bother with AD-rewarding tasks until you hit Leadership lvl 20. After that, select tasks either based on the best AD/hour or gold/hour ratio - depending on what you are after. Personally I go for the AD - I have 150 gold in hand but I can always use more AD.

Good advice if you are doing this during the day.
Overnight though you can run other things such as Battle Spellplagued or Protect Diamond shipment, which although less XP/hour give you the same total XP as Patrol the Mines, but better rewards in terms of gold, AD and collectables.
How on Earth have people got to level 20 in Leadership already?
I have been logging in two or three times a day since *cough* Open Beta *cough* and have only just hit 19, so I still need a third as much total XP to get to 20...

In my case the answer is a lot of skilled workers Basically two purple ones and ten blue - enough to run 7 tasks with a 50% speed bonus.
Hoping for improvements...

Exactly. You need to invest some capital in it for the assets in order to advance in it more quickly (in addition to picking the right tasks, of course).

And for people who don't have time to micromanage their profession tasks, Tactical Training gives more Leadership exp than Patrol the Mines. Only problem is that it gets terribly dull to get nothing tangible out of the exercise for such a long stretch of time, so lately (at leadership level 16) I've been running 3x War Games and 3x Fight Off Spell Plagued -- a little less exp, but I get 3 barrels of (low-value) items and 1200 diamonds in the exchange, which makes me feel a little less like a gerbil on a treadmill.
well if you look in the foundry quest that are not featured there are a lot of grind ones, you can make a hell lot of gold there send me a PM and will give you the one i use for my GF and how to correctly grind
Everything works out in the end . If it hasn't worked out yet, it isn't the end...

wow thanks for the info about the gold, it's time to save up some gold lol

I mkae about 3g per run with 15% gold find in scarlet library foundry. Foundries do give decent gold if you do the right ones. Another way u can make a little gold i selling seal items to the vendor when u have extra drake and unicorn seals.

I got 20 on character about a month ago. And that was with only white assests. Second character is about a week away and third probably 10-14 days or so.
As far as tasks go I prefer Patrol the Mines on the ones not 20 since Mining Claims are handy to have.

I'm getting insane amounts of gold from the skirmish. Tons of green drops.
Go to lower level instances and identify and sell every green you find. Since there is a big difference in AD price between 59 scrolls and 60 scrolls but small in gold value.

Yea the new event is actually quite good for gold - probably a bug:
Seems all the copper and loot that drops - drops for every character. Doesn't go up for roll.
So you get on average 6x the loot/copper vs the other lvl60 skirmish.
Also drops greater id scrolls to let you id and sell the greens you get for 10s each, rathern then 1. (Epic dungeons never drop id scrolls, so its quite a bit faster gp then those)
Disadvantages:
- The enchants are generally rank 1-3, rather then the 3-4 you get in the whispering caverns skirm. Tho savage are generally worth more, so not too bad
- Queue system is stupidly slow as it gets overloaded due to demand.
- No chance at a getting a 100k+ AD item to sell. At best the pets sell for maybe 10-20k, and probably less then that in a day.
-Zero challenge, pretty boring.
so, assuming your issue is plenty of ad no gold. buy stuff from ah that sells well to npc. ie a common pony sells to npc for 2.5g and often costs 5k ad. there are better rates of exchange but that one is fast and easy.
I think they need to made a ad-gold exchange same as the ad-zen just add 2 tabs. or have a npc who will convert currencys if they want a fixed rate.
also hold onto your pets in a few months they will sell for more after the event is over and you cant get them, the dyes also, the dyes look nice if you use another colour over one of the 2 browns the browns look more golden when they have a more vivid highlight.

1. Leadership profession.
2. Buy cheap pots off AH and sell for gold.
3. Sell T1/T2 items for gold through Zone Chat.
4. Make alts and level Leadership
5. If you're a CW, farm certain Foundries that have a lot of enemies.

how do you make gold with Leadership? (or better: what task?... need higher level?)
What Class Are You?
