I see a lot complaining about a GF's prone and well I don't feel a big issue with them on the encounter basis. I can see maybe why they think that prones are out of control with CC prone stun lock. Its there daily that has the biggest prone that juggles you in the air. That can set you up for a lunging strike followed by 2 more prones. Well its a daily and its not up very often but in the line of chain CC I can see it to be annoying and not needed. So lets just get rid of it and have it cause a different effect. Suggestion would be good since doing away with prone.
Is your goal to just nerf every class? Majority of all of your posts are nerf <insert here>. Please leave this game and go play WoW or My Little Pony as that might be more your skill level.
If you spent more time in-game learning to play the game and how mechanic's work you would soon realize it's not as bad as the forum warriors make it out to be. The Indomitable Strength prone is trash and block/dodge/unstoppable and used for the damage it gives not the CC. The animation is slow and easily noticeable same with most of the GF CCs.
But thats also one of the heaviest damage daily's isn't it? And I imagine they would have to boost the damage if they remove the prone, I already take 75% of a squishy's health bar with that daily when I have knights challenge on lol.
As fun as it is being the proner, I do hate it when I'm on my CW and am the pronee heh.

I too am getting tired of "Nerf X class" or "Nerf X power"
And for the record, that is a GF only single target daily. If they nerf what makes it more useful than the other dailies, single target damage + control, then would have buff up something else.
By why do that when its just fine the way it is. Yeah getting tossed around isnt fun. But you have to anticipate that anytime engaging a guardian fighter.
Its like fighting a Control Wizard and not expecting to get hung around and them teleporting away when you get close.
LOL I am amused by your reactions. Figure if I talk about the class I play and listen to what players say that they would agree. So when I say fix rogue and balance with other classes. Rogue enrage and flame me because I am a GF and say that I am OP and need a nerf. So I listen and say ok Nerf our daily then GF's say all I want is nerfs. Funny I only make comments bases on what post and threads read. Someone suggested it and I thought it could a doable idea to lessen players crying about a GF's prone. I said suggestions. If a player thinks that a GF prone is OP I think this is the best option. If I were to only talk about other class adjustments that would be foolish and biased of me.
Your input is nice though I will take that into account. Some more thoughts and suggestion though maybe from the rogues and cw's of the world.

Nothing wrong with GF powers or TR powers, as they're solid and can be managed. This comes down to practicing.

So rather than waste time with more "nerf this" threads that you seem to be doing for the sake of trolling, be constructive. You've already made clear that you neitehr like nor use your class's core mechanics of marking and blocking, so what do you want here?
Please, stop trying to provoke people.

The problem is not the prone attacks, it's the fact that they can leap all over the map, making em close to impossible to kite. Lower the range of bull charge, and their at will leap, and the class will be ballanced.
GF's are not the only class with a stunlock combo, GWF have one, TR's have one, CW have one.

Their at-will already has a pretty short range, and sometimes it bugs out at least for me, like the animation starts but then I don't go anywhere, sometimes this happens repeatedly. They are the only class that can continuously prone however, and prone is the only form of CC that cannot be broken with Unstoppable, ItC etc. GF is the only class that once 1 ability is landed there is a 100% chance of death before being able to move whatsoever. Not that I think they should be heavily nerfed, but it's just silly to say they have the same cc and kill potential of all other DPS classes

leap all over the map? Thier only distant closers is Lunging Strike, Threatening Rush, Bull Charge.
And all of them have relatively short range besides Lunging Strike.

Every single class has more mobility than GF.
Just what are you talking about?
I've had GF's leaping after me from point to point constantly, they usually have a hard time killing me on their own so i really mean, all over the map. On a class that can't deal with the dmg, this is broken luckily i can.

LOL, I think you will like to play GW2 where everything is nerf the nerfed content. LOL

That is the use of an at will. Threatening Rush. Which has a short range, but can be spammed to follow a target indefinitly if they dont move far enough away.
The ability does not use that much damage. And the only way they can move across the map, is if the person they are targeting are moving across the map.
And as I said before, 1 of thier 3 only ways to close distances on people.
So let's stop wasting time and QQ'ing for nerfs.

LOL. A TR has many things wrong with most of its powers. Seriously. So many adjustments needed for that class to even be considered close to being balanced with the rest of the classes.

It can be very challenging to get to a target currently if they know actually how to kite. So you want a GF to never get to you it sounds like ?

Threatening Rush (at-will) and Lunging Strike (encounter) are great GF gap closers. They're also easily thwarted if the GF isn't fast with their shield or mis-times it. What class do you play?
Gf skills allow them to rapidly get into the fight, but once they're in it they're not going anywhere until a) the fight is over or b) someone else uses knockback or a control power that they don't block. They can spec for one-on-one control in PvP, and with Knight's Challenge can be more than a match for anyone not prepared for it.

Hardly. First, each class has positives and negatives. Second, TR's are rather squishy strikers and the way most people play them they are more "glass cannons" than CW's who can significantly out-DPS TR's when the CW is well specced and played. Third, many of the players who are QQ'ing about TR's are doing so based on their own problems with playing against them in PvP rather than developing strategies (or just finding them on the forum) to counter them.
I've yet to see a well-thought out and reasonable critique of TR's and reasonable "balance" suggestions. If you have one to share, perhaps that will be the first.

Which class are you and is the GF using a skill called "Knights Challenge" giving them a 100% Damage increase while also allow you to do 100% more damage to them. Normal combo is they use their "Entire" set of encounters + daily to kill a CW or TR. (Unless they are running with a lot of gear built around burst vs. survival)
Which means they are even easier for your team to CC and blow up yourself.

I play a Cleric, the only way for me to dodge their Leaps are by Shifting towards em, and thats usually right into their backlines.
They can lock me down for quit a time, but they hardly ever kill me, not even with Knights Challange up. I can usually survive 2 of em aswell, unless they are really lucky with Tene procs.

So serious question here (as I was thinking it through, it occurred to me that it might come off as mocking and that is not my intention), have you not been able to dodge to the side? Because the only times my GF misses with a gap closer is with any other class that uses an evasion skill with good timing - including DC's. At this point I rarely miss with Frontline Surge, but that's an AoE knockdown that's a lot faster than Terrifying Impact.
The right to command is earned through duty, the privilege of rank is service.
I know a perfect solution make all pvp fight their OWN class and that is all. because if you keep nerfing away all special features of a class that is what you get ... pvp is not supposed to be balanced... or fair. fair typically means everyone has same exact powers.
so stop asking for nerfs start suggesting ways to buff the defences for the weaker classes.

Clerics arn't CW's or TR's, we don't have a dodge. If I use my my SHIFT backwards, or to the side, the leap attacks are gonna hit me. If i SHIFT towrds the Bull Charge the attack still gonna hit me, but because of some bad programming it don't knock me backwards or prone.

The "Cleric Slide" (likely inspired by Cosmo Kramer) is a dodge, just not as nifty as a teleport or backwards roll.
Interesting, thanks. I wonder if it is a matter of timing, since DC's have dodged my Lunging Strike and Threatening Rush. I don't think any have dodged my bull charge, but I also tend to use that at shorter range.
