It is expensive to make a decent rune say rank 7/8. It is extremely expensive to make a greater enchantment (vorpal, plague fire etc...). Fine!

Why is it so expensive to unbind one of those enchantments ? (362k Astral diamonds to remove a greater)

Is it pure greed or what ???

If there is no cost to unbind the enchantment, everyone will be filled with these. Then, everyone will be forced to put on more and higher grade enhancements. A situation that I do not want to see.

I don't think he's saying there should be NO cost, but the current costs are ridiculously high.

When it's cheaper to just buy a new off the AH than it is to remove one from an existing item, that's not a very effective money sink.

Not to mention the AH is player run, not run by Cryptic. Im not saying the prices shouldnt be adjusted just stating why its there.
