Weapon Enchantments should be better balanced

I'm not just talking about effects here. I'm talking about some upgrades from normal to greater(and in some cases greater to perfect) providing less or more of a bonus than they should.

Bilethorn:
Lesser: 3.8% ; 6.5%
Normal: 5.2% (+1.4%) ; 8.1% (+1.6%)
Greater: 6% (+.8%) ; 11% (+2.9%)
Perfect: 7.5% (+1.5%) ; 16% (+5%)
Note: For initial damage, the change from normal to greater is least effective. For the DoT, it inceases a lot per rank.

Flaming:
Lesser: 6% ; 2%
Normal: 7.5% (+1.5%) ; 2.5% (+.5%)
Greater: 10% (+2.5%) ; 3.5% (+1%)
Perfect: 12% (+2%) ; 4% (+.5%)
Note: For initial damage, the change from greater to perfect is least effective. For the DoT, the change from normal to greater is most effective.

Frost:
Lesser: 5.5% ; 13%
Normal: 6.9% (+1.4%) ; 17% (+4%)
Greater: 9.6% (+2.7%) ; 20% (+3%)
Perfect: ???
Note: Perfect is unknown. For the initial damage, the change from normal to greater is fine. For the secondary effect, the change from normal to greater is least effective.

Holy Avenger:
Lesser: 9.4% ; 5%
Normal: 13% (+3.6%) ; 10% (+5%)
Greater: 15% (+2%) ; 15% (+5%)
Perfect: 19% (+4%) ; 20% (+5%)
Note: For initial damage, the upgrade from normal to greater is least effective. The secondary effect chance is balanced.

Lifedrinker:
Lesser: 4.4%
Normal: 6.1% (+1.7%)
Greater: 7% (+.9%)
Perfect: 8.8% (+1.8%)
Note: The upgrade from normal to greater is least effective.

Lightning:
Lesser: 10%
Normal: 12% (+2%)
Greater: 18% (+6%)
Perfect: 20% (+2%)
Note: The jump from normal to greater is much to high, while the upgrade to perfect adds only 2%.

Plague Fire:
Lesser: 3.5% ; 1.2%
Normal: 5.5% (+2%) ; 1.8% (+.6%)
Greater: 7.5% (+2%) ; 2.5% (+.7%)
Perfect: N/A
Note: The upgrade from lesser to normal and normal to greater provides the exact same percentage. The upgrade from normal to greater is slightly better than lesser to normal. Perfect doesn't exist.

Vorpal:
Lesser: 12%
Normal: 25% (+13%)
Greater: 38% (+13%)
Perfect: 50% (+12%)
Note: The upgrade from greater to perfect is 1% lower than the upgrade from normal to greater.

Final conclusion:
Weapon enchantments need to have some values changed so that upgrading is rewarded well. What we have currently is that some upgrades reward well, while others do not. Either the upgrades need to be balanced per upgrade(Ex: 5% > 10% > 15% > 20%) or give a slight bonus per upgrade(Ex: 5% > 11% > 18% > 26%). Having them do one or the other completely at random is frustrating.

Edit: Most armor enchantments are balanced for their rank, so I'm not going to discuss them.

Ive noticed this and completely agree... Ive always complained that some enchant ranks are just too strong and OP... And others are not even worth using...

THey need to just make it all linear with the idea that two lessers = 1 regular. regular+lesser=greater and greater+lesser=perfect...

So the POSPOSED changes would be:

    Bilethorn:
    Lesser: 2%; 4%
    Normal: 4%; 8%
    Greater: 6%; 12%
    Perfect: 8%; 16%

    Flaming:
    Lesser: 4%; 1.5%
    Normal: 8%; 3%
    Greater: 12%; 4.5%
    Perfect: 16%; 6%

    Frost:
    Lesser: 3.5%; 7%
    Normal: 7%; 14%
    Greater: 10.5%; 21%
    Perfect: 14%; 28%

    Holy Avenger:
    Lesser: 5%; 5%
    Normal: 10%; 10%
    Greater: 15%; 15%
    Perfect: 20%; 20%

    Lifedrinker:
    Lesser: 2.5%
    Normal: 5%
    Greater: 7.5%
    Perfect: 10%

    Lightning:
This has chain mechanics that I dont really know well... so I wont comment this....

    Plague Fire:
    Lesser: 3%; 1%
    Normal: 6%; 2%
    Greater: 9%; 3%
    Perfect: N/A

    Vorpal:
    Lesser: 12%
    Normal: 24%
    Greater: 36%
    Perfect: 48%

Your proposed changes actually end up buffing or nerfing a lot of things.

Lesser and perfect can have the same end results as long as normal and greater are changed to have values that are worth upgrading for.

I think all the percent enchants for both weapon and armor should all be buffed....

The sheer number of shards/wards to create these is crazy... This will always limit the amount of perfect enchants around..I don't think the upgrade from greater to perfect properly reflects the amour involved with crafting these....

Tested my normal Lifedrinker vs. my friend's Greater Lightning on our GWFs and it seems the threat bonus isn't as noticeable as when I use it on my GF.

It'd be cool if they could give Lifedrinker flat threat per rank so that tanks have a definite weapon enchantment to use when they want threat.
