Another movement question :D

If you give a Ioun stone a ring/other piece of gear with +movement, do you get the extra movement? (As companions do not have a movement stat)

    I just tried using an Arachnomancer's Ring (+125 Movement) but it didn't affect my movement stat :( submitting a bug report in the hope that they'll fix it.
