Reinstall Question

Maybe a **** question but I am having problems with the game crashing. If I do a reinstall will I lose any existing data .... characters and the like?

If I do reinstall should I uninstall the game first?

    The only thing you will lose are custom keybinds, any changes you made to the GUI (windows resized or dragged), and customizations to the chat windows. You will also have to set up your graphics options again. There is a game preferencec file you can copy that has most of those settings though.
